Intro- Humans:

You live in a normal, small town in New York (state.) There’s nothing particularly different about your life. At least, nothing that’s never been felt before.

But every now and then you see something in the corner of your eye, or hear something under the noise of everyday life.

But you can ignore it and walk away... for now.

Intro- Angels:

You are only called an angel because that’s what humans call you. The true name of your species is long forgotten, hidden somewhere in the tower's library.

You look human, but have wings. Your wing color is based on your personality (excepting that of the Head of Council and a fallen angel.) To humans your wings are invisible, as part of an instinctively created illusion that can be overridden.

Your dimension exists alongside that of humans. A dimension that, sadly, you share with terrible creatures. But more and more of the evil things on your side of existence are making their way to humanity. The numbers are growing every day- there's no way to know how much longer you can stop them from taking over.

The way you get to earth is through a kind of inter-dimensional tear, called the dimensional tunnel, located opposite the Tower. Your world is made up of a city, built in stone and painted gold and white (angels have a flair for the ornate.) At the center is a huge building, known as the Tower, that hold the most powerful (in a political sense) of your kind.

You can communicate through a watch communicator, where everybody can hear. This is how a Lieu can call for a scout after a human saw something, or other things like it.

Laws of the Angels:

1) Do not have a long term relationship with a human.
2) Do not show your wings to a human.
3) Do not help anything through the dimensional tunnel, either direction.

-Keep swearing to a medium level. F word has to be very, very rare. Don’t swear every line.
-No Mary/Gary sues. Pretty please?
-Keep non-SB posts to the DT please.

-Ask before killing somebody else’s characer. It’s not nice if you don’t ask.
-Have 3 characters, max. If one of yours dies, you can make another.
-Be reasonable with violence and language. If anybody gets uncomfortable, I’ll make specific boundaries.

Age- angels live up to 500ish years (the council are 450+.) Children are under 40, Adolescence is until 60.

Job- One of the three, make sure there are spots open! If you really, really want a certain job I could add a spot.
Wing Color- matches personality. White wings are for the Head of Council, and black is... a plot point we will discuss.

Name- Kael [kay-le] Sanders.

Age- 54 (looks around 16)

Gender- Female.

Appearance-
Personality- Kael is one of the most determined people you'll ever meet, she has a rather "fiery" personality. She is surprisingly outgoing, and she is ALWAYS herself. When she gets nervous, she talks way to much, and becomes giggly. She is a naturally sweet and caring person , and often gets labeled as a pushover after first impressions, but is most certainly is not. She hates making decisions, and she doubts herself often. (though she doesn't show it). When she knows what she wants, she won't stop until she gets it. Kael loves photography and is extremely creative. Sometimes she wishes she wasn't an angel, she thinks it's complicated and just wants to be normal. The human way of life intrigues her. Kael is scared of snakes,water, and rejection, but she doesn't dare tell anyone because in her view, it would make her vulnerable.She is a pyro, she loves anything to do with fire. Kael happens to be a major health food person, she usually stays organic and prefers not to eat ANY meat. She is always outside in high places. Some of her favorite past times is writing and drawing whatever comes to mind.

Appearance-

Personality- She's a little vain, and her feelings are very easily hurt. She really likes hollow compliments, and her ego needs constant feeding. She's smart, and likes to show it- showing off is something she's known for. She puts no stock at all in superstition, and only reads fiction if it's a popular book. She does listen to to lot of music though, enjoying bands like Green Day and Fall Out Boy (but if you ask, she likes Taylor Swift and Maroon 5.) She spends a lot of time in the morning on her hair.

Other- Took French in school and speaks it, again showing off. She's not going to college until she absolutely, positively has to.

Appearance-

Personality- She tends to not want to talk much, but when she does, she talks a lot. She is pretty sarcastic and irritable, but in the end does what she thinks is the right thing. She's very easily bored, and if left with nothing to do she'll annoy the nearest living thing. But when she does have a job, she's all business, and won't go off topic for a minute. She has a huge soft spot for cute, non-deadly animals and will throw a fit when one is killed. She can be describes as immature.

Gender- Male

Appearance-

Personality- He tries not to show emotion. It's almost impossible to change his mind once it's been made, and that's especially true in life-or-death situations. He's very rational, to the point that anything can be rationalized- the best way to convince him is to tell him using his logic. But there are good things about that, like the fact that he isn't biased- no matter how much he hates somebody, he'll be fair.

Name: Adonis Alexis Barke
Age: 321 (appears to be 18)
Gender: Male
Appearance: He wears white when he's in the City of Angels, but he wears red when in New York just to keep his true self a secret.
Personality: He's the strangest of angels, a seeming youth of wrath and kindness. He's very kind to humans, but loves the innocence of infants and young children. Whenever he sees a wicked person harm an innocent, he gets furious enough that his fiery temper would cloud his judgement. He has a love for playing the lute, which hardly happens due to his job.
Job: Scout.
Wing Color: Red, respective of his temper.
Up for love: Yes, he's straight to the core.
Other: He often has a small amount of free time, but he carries his lute with him everywhere he goes.

Appearance-

Personality- Ryder is a mysterious type of guy. You never know exactly what he's thinking. Many think he's easy to read, but whenever they think they know what's going on , it's usually the opposite. Ryder is good at portraying being someone he's not, he rarely shows his soft side. His upper body strength is amazing, but he isn't the fastest person out there. His reflexes are amazing. Ryder is very strong mentally , so it's hard to break him down on any level, unless you bring up his soft spots. He breaks down under pressure and he hates when people bring up his family. (he was adopted) He's very protective of those he loves (sometimes to much) He can get a little cocky when he's trying to impress someone. He is an amazing actor and plays guitar in his off time.

Personality-

Angel is allways one to take care of humans. Especially children and the old. He is very compationate and understanding.   He loves to have fun and hang out.
But his serious side tends to take over. Often decides to break the rules to get the job done.

She has dirty blond hair, a small face with a regular sized nose. She has some freckles on her cheeks Crystal blue eyes, 5'4".

Personality-
She is very very social and loved. Though she doesn't allways feel like she is. She is a great student. She is allways making jokes and making people laugh. She is very down to earth and doesn't allways like to wear makeup or things like that
Angel likes to keep an eye on her because he belives if he were to have been reborn, she would have been his sister. But he sort of has a thing for her.

Name- Terrara. [T-uh-rare-uh] "Terra" Sallsburry.

Age- 17

Gender- female

Appearance-

Personality- Terrara is the curious type, she's always asking questions. That's what happens after working for the paper for 6 years. She's your average 17 yearold as far as looks, but intelligence wise, she far surpasses most of her age. Terra is a really good talker, and is used to getting herself out of sticky situations. Her obsession remains with feathers, after reading many books about the possibility of people with wings, she has been interested in the "fantasy" people that seem to only live in her books. Terra loves to paint and will often sketch on any paper on hand ( rather it's school papers,notebooks, the newspapaer, etc.) When she starts to focus of something , she either plays with her hair or puts it up out of her face. Many classify her a a nerd , but she is really one of the most down to earth people you will ever meet, and is a joy to be around when you take the time to get to know her. As a journalist, she loves taking risks, but there's an line she constantly draws when it goes to far. she secretly wishes to have a close friend that will understand her rather than reject her like most do. Terra knows how it feels to be rejected , so she has a hard time refusing almost anything out of habit. She ALWAYS carries a pen and a notebook.
