Based on Sims Castaways.

Plot:
A cruise called The Maiden's Kiss with 859 passengers aboard is sailing the Pacific. One night, a massive storm hits. Merciless waves toss the ship around, knocking many off-board. Stuck in the middle of the ocean, there is no hope for survival. The ship is torn apart, killing 849 people. Only ten survived. Those ten awake on the shore of a mysterious island, with exotic fruits and wild animals, such as birds, monkeys, etc. You and the other nine are rescued by a woman named Bellalyse. Together, you will learn to adapt to your surroundings, hunt, build shelters, whatever it takes to survive. Around the island are four people. You will greet these castaways and help them; in return, they will help you. Hidden amongst the island are seven remaining pieces of a map. If you succeed in finding the seven pieces, the map will show you a path to a ship, which you will sail home in.

Name: Meredith Blaire Carlisle

Appearance (picture, no anime): Meredith has brownish blondish curly hair that goes a little bit past her shoulders. She has straight-cut bangs and many streaks of blonde. Meredith has big brown eyes. She is pretty tall, and has a slim dancer's figure. Meredith has a small stitch on her forearm, and a sun tattoo on the back of her shoulder.

Personality: Meredith is a happy and fun girl. She is pretty sarcastic, but can be nice. Meredith is a bit flirtacious, and loves to think that she's a pretty big flirt. She loves to laugh. Whenever she's sad or in depression, she freaks out and shows a totally different side of herself. She tries to avoid being sad and depressed. Meredith is pretty polite, and is delicate.

History: Meredith was born into a loving family, a stay-home mom, a work all day dad, and supportive brothers.Her brothers were pretty protective of her, and treated her like one of the guys. Meredith got some boy's blood in her, but she still acts like a girl.

Meredith's mom used to dance (contemporary, ballet, and so on), so Meredith began following her footsteps in dance. Meredith loves to dance ever since her mom took her to one of the dance studios in their community.They were all living a happy life... until her mom got diagnosed with breast cancer. This put a dent in their lives. A few months later, her mom died and Meredith decided to stop dancing, since it reminds her of her mom.

After a week, Meredith couldn't stand not dancing. So she graduated high school and enrolled into a University and majored in dance. Meredith was on The Maiden's Kiss for a school trip. A storm suddenly came, and as she knows it, she's shipwrecked.

Other: Meredith has a French-ish British accent, but can fake an American one perfectly. Up for love.

Appearance: April has hip length black hair which is naturally straight. She has very pale skin with a few freckles dotted over the bridge of her nose. Her eyes are dark green.

Personality: She does joke around a lot but never means to be offensive . . . or at least not all of the time. April usually finds it easy to make friends and is also very loyal. She is also very open minded.

History: April was the only child of a hippy mother and a metal head father. As a result she ended up enjoying a wide variety of music. She follows her fathers taste more than anything else and is quite gothic. When she was 17 she converted her religion from Christian to Wiccan. During this time her and her mother had a few problems but her father was ok with her following her own path in life. April is still having trouble at home and decided to take the cruise to get away for a while.

Other: Up for love. Has a slight caffiene addiction which may be difficult to break.

Name: Sebastian Cole

Appearance (picture, no anime):

Personality: Seb is a very distant guy. He doesn't talk too much and prefers to be alone. Crowds of people actually frighten him a bit, though he won't admit this to anyone else. It's not easy to gain his trust and it may be a while before he's even comfortable having long conversations with you. Seb is quiet and secure, but is in no way "shy". If you do something that bothers him he will point it out. He might even go as far as to ask you to leave if you won't leave him alone. If he happens to overhear you saying something wrong or stupid that will get you or others hurt then he will point out your stupidity and tell you what you should do.

He can fight for himself and will only fight for you if you put yourself across as a good person. He doesn't like loud noises, crowds, or anything excessive. He also hates mean and rude people, if you're mean, snobby, rude, or just a brat or jerk then there is no way Seb will ever befriend you.

In all Sebs is the mysterious silent type. He's always around when you don't need him and when you need him he's nowhere to be found. He sees everything and he hears everything. Because he's so quiet and sneaky he probably knows more about you than you'll be comfortable with.

History: Sebastian was always a quiet reserved kid, he didn't find any fun in being in large groups of people, the thought of being surrounded by people is actually a phobia of his. He has claustrophobia and a fear of touching people, or being close to people he doesn't know. As a child he spent a lot of time in the library so he is very smart. In his lifetime he's only made a few friends and, since he's very picky about who he keeps around, his friends stayed close to him even when high school was over. Sebastian's friends are like his family and he loves them a lot.

Sebs has only had one girlfriend and the only reason they separated was because she died in a car accident. He still keeps a locket with her picture in it around his neck. He has her name, Sarah, tattooed on his chest over his heart. It's hard for him to find love in another person because of that. Sarah was nice, sweet, smart, and creative. She had a great heart and he wants his future mate to be exactly like that. He's kind of stuck up on her.

Other: He actually does smoke, it's just a thing of his. He doesn't do it compulsively but it does relax and calm him. Though Seb prefers to be alone he will give everyone that approaches him at least one chance before he blows them off, if he doesn't find a reason to ignore them then he won't be as shut off to them as the others.

He is up for love but you'll really have to try, sorry girls, it won't be easy.

Appearance (picture, no anime): Pale, hair is blonde with a little bit of red, very thick and straight, goes down to her mid-back tall and sort of gangly. She has green eyes. Small lips, pointed nose.


Personality: Karissa comes off as sort of stuck up because she isn't very outgoing or willing to talk to people. She tends to be sort of a push-over and avoids confrontation but she is extremely loyal when it comes to people she cares about, especially her sister. Slightly narrow-minded and judgmental... although, she means well!

History: Karissa grew up in a very wealthy family, her father owned a vineyard. Mother was very sick since she was about 8. Father was very busy but very loving. Karissa has one younger sister, about 9 years old, names Lucille (or Lucy for short). She loved riding horses on their land and when she was younger exploring it. However, she has been somewhat sheltered her entire life. She was on the swim team at her private school.

Name: Hadraniel "Hadra, Haa" Mihr

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Appearance (picture, no anime): Hadra has bright innocent, and even slightly scared, eyes. One eyes is emerald green and the other is blue. His eyes are like this:

Personality: Haa is a bit of a nerd. He's awkward and quiet. He doesn't really talk to others and if someone was to speak to him he wouldn't know what to do in response. When he's nervous he stutters and blushes instantly. He always has his camera with him, no matter what, and the only reason he came on the cruise is to get pictures of the sea. He's never without his camera, it's all that he has really.

Hadra is only comfortable when talking about photography and when Haa talks he'll sometimes stutter and he talks in a low voice because he's always wondering if the other person is getting bored or making fun of him. He's never had a girlfriend or anything like that. Hadra is terribly shy and there's nothing he can do about it, but when he's around somebody he's comfortable with he doesn't stutter and doesn't worry about the other person teasing him. He's also always taking pictures of anything that catches his eye.

History: Hadraneil wasn't always shy. He was actually a fun and outgoing kid until he hit junior high. When he got to junior high everyone teased him because his name was weird. And while they were teasing him because of his name they teased them because he wore glasses. They teased him for every little thing they could find. They teased him because his eyes were an unusual color and even because he had curly hair. By the time Haa went to high school he just didn't speak or even try to make friends.

The only way he made friends was through photography, which he fell in love with in the tenth grade. He made friends there and went on to become photography editor of the newspaper and yearbook. A few months after Hadra's graduation his mother died of cancer so he had to move to America to live with his grandparents, he originally lived in London.

He went to college for photography and works part time as a photographer for Vogue until he finishes college and can work full time. Right now he is on vacation. Though he is no longer teased for his name or appearance he's still really insecure and awkward about it.

Other: His first name is the angel of love and his last name is the angel of friendship. He's up for love but is confused about his sexuality because he's never actually dates or been sexually attracted to anyone. He also has a British accent because that's where he was born and raised most of his life before moving to America.

Name: Clea Hastings.

Personality: Clea is a kind and wise girl who sticks up for what she believes in, and doesn't let anyone put her down. She's the type of friend you want; she's fiercely loyal and protective. She will stick up for anyone, and will save anyne from harm. She cannot stand bullies, liars, and fakes.

History: Clea comes from a small town in a small state. She goes to a high school with about 1,500 kids, roughly, so she know everyone. She's popular and well-liked by everyone. She hasn't dated that much, only twice, so she has no relationship advice.

Name: Charles Kosey (all call him the Red Vampire)
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Appearance: Minus the nose-piercing. Believe it or not, he prefers to wear black for some odd reason. His eyes are colbalt, almost black as the clothes he wear. He's naturally pale- almost pale as a ghost.
Personality: Kind to anyone who sees him as a friend, but socially a loner since nobody liked someone as quiet and unusually calm as him. He hardly talks beause of his loner social life. Contrary to what he wears, he's actually fun to be with if you can see through his lonely shell and make friends with him. He can't really stand being alone. All he really wants is a circle of friends to be with. His parents were his only friends, but when they died, he was greatly wounded inside. If anyone asks about what his parents once were, he'll run away and cry loudly.
History: Charles is the only son of a vampire novelist and a pianist. During his childhood, he was the inspiration of his mother's main character- James the Red Vampire- and the muse of his father's music. When he first started school, he was avoided by other children and feared by the teachers only because he looked like a vampire. By the time he was in high school, his parents decided to take him on a trip on The Maiden's Kiss in hopes of making an epic novel, tropical music, and put some light in their son's lonely social life. When the boat was destroyed, his parents were killed and Charles was greatly devastated. His parents were all the friends he had, but now that they're dead, he has no friends to talk to.
Other: Up for love. Whether he knows it or not, he's bisexual. He also has a thing for nature, since he spent some of his time outside learning how to survive on what nature provides.

Appearance:

Warwick has bright blonde hair that is usually really curly. He has bright blue eyes, almost unnervingly bright, giving him an almost mischievous look. His face is always full of expression displaying clearly what ever mood he is in. His features are a little bit more sharp then depicted in the picture and his skin is usually white, but after a day of exposure to the sun on the boat, his skin tanned to a dark golden brown.

He is really strong though appears to be only slightly muscled. He is medium height, actually almost short for a guy, at the height of 5"7. He speaks with a thick Russian accent.

Personality:
Warwick is the definition of arrogance. He is over-confident in himself and believes he knows everything. Though, this arrogance is deserved due to his sublime knowledge of the outdoors due to his heritage and his raising. He knows he is good looking, which is unfortunate, causing him to think all the girls are into him. He is incredibly shallow though. He also tends to complain if he doesn't get his way, telling people his problems even though they really don't care.

Often times, Warwick would do best if he could keep his mouth shut and actually think before he spoke. But that case is often not accomplished and he is left hurting other peoples feelings or causing fights and drama.

Due to his short demeanor, he has small man's syndrome thinking everything wrong is done to directly hurt him causing his anger to take flight. He has a fighting spirit so his threats are not just words. There is intent behind them.

He has some redeeming qualities. He can be an excellent friends and will listen to other people. He is not that stubborn and will give in if people prove him wrong (after a bit of a hissy-fit). He is open to admitting he is wrong if he actually believes it which is not often. He often makes jokes and keeps conversation light, not letting things get him down. Ever the optimist.

History:
Warwick grew up in Stalingrad living in a large mansion on the outskirts of the city. His mother was a housewife, staying home and cleaning along with the maids as she was raised to do. He would always be welcomed to breakfast with homemade meals cooked by his mother. His father was successful, in a sense. You see, his father was an international arms dealer. The illegal kind. His father was also into drug trafficking and the sex trade. Warwick used to idolize his father when he was a child, always excited for those few times his father would return home.

But as Warwick got older, he began to understand what his burly father's trade was and also realized he would be expected to take over the business. The thought left a bad taste in his mouth. He began spending more time away from his fathers empire and out in the bush or fraternizing with the girls in the city. He ended up meeting a military commander there. Warwick wished to join the military then at the age of sixteen, but he hadn't reached age yet for the mandatory service expected by his government. The commander took pity and taught him much to do with wilderness training.

Warwick started to plan out his future whereas he could be successful and be morally right unlike his father, basing much of his future with the obligatory service depicted by the military at the age of eighteen.

His father shipped him off before then wishing for his son to escape that law. Warwick ended up boarding in America since he was seventeen with a foster family, always extremely well cared for and given anything he needed. His foster family wasn't low class either. They own a palace of a mansion in Los Angelos. He became one of those spoiled tanned beach boys.

He went on the cruise to escape his doting guardians, thinking maybe this cruise would give him the ability to head back to Russia.

Other:
Warwick does not have the full education he would have received in the Western world, so things like math and physics are nonsense to him. He has really good common sense though. And yes, he is up for love if you can handle his attitude.

I've been itching to get all storybookerish for ages. I'll take the last guy's spot if that's alright. I'm making a profile as we speak!

Name: Logan Sheeran

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Appearance (picture, no anime): Logan is obsessed with his appearance. He's good looking in a pretty interesting way, and he knows it. His eyes are such a dark shade of brown, they look black when there isn't much lighting. When the sun is on his face though, they're the colour of Coca Cola. He has the average skin colour: not tanned as such, but not pale either. His hair is shaved on the sides and back, but it's long in the front and the top. He sometimes wears it in a quiff, but sometimes just leaves it down. His hair means everything to him. He looks like this, innit:



Personality: Basically, he's a twat. After knowing Logan for ten minutes, the majority of people want to punch him in the face. He takes the mick out of everyone to their faces, and it's ten times worse in his head. He's constantly coming out with snarky comments, and he doesn't have any patience with anyone whatsoever. Even though he knows people dislike him, he thinks that everyone wants him because of the way he looks. His main priority is his appearance. He's constantly checking his hair and making sure his clothes are presentable.

The main reason Logan's obsessed with his looks though is because, basically, he doesn't think he has anything else. He knows he treats people horribly, and he knows that he's hard to like, let aone love, so he feels like his looks are all he has. They're the only good quality about him in his mind. When it comes down to it, he hates the way he does, in fact, treat people. If he ever tries to be kind towards them though, he becomes extremely worried because he hates getting close to others. He doesn't like the thought of anyone liking him as a peron because he knows he'll let them down in the long run.

History: Logan grew up in Ireland, which has resulted in him having quite a strong Irish accent. He doesn't tell anyone this, but he's actually a traveller (a gypsy). The only reason he was on the cruise was because he got on illegally by sneaking his way onto the ship. He's been all over Ireland by now, and he wanted to see more of the outside world, and see how non-gypsies lived because he had no idea. He's planning on keeping his traveller life a secret for as long as he can though becasuse he's worried about how the othes would react/treat him if they found out.

Logan grew up with his father and his grandmother because his mother died while giving birth to him. The traveller community he was brought up in was a poor one, so he didn't exactly have the flashiest caravan. Growing up, all his father and grandmother did was express how he was living his life wrongly. They were strongly catholic, but Logan is the complete opposite. As well as that, he doesn't follow the traveller lifestyle his family wanted him to. Like all of the other travellers in the community, they wanted him to be married at sixteen, and they wouldn't let him set foot anywhere near non-gypsies, even though he's desperately wanted to since he was a litle kid.

When it comes down to it, he couldn't get out of Ireland fast enough. The good thing about his upbringing though is that he knows how to live roughly. Even though he is a twat, he should be able to deal with a situation like this well, even if it'll mean getting impatient with the other less experienced members of the group.

Other: Logan loves the party lifestyle. He lives for the moment, and he'd taken and done more or less everything by the time he was 15. He smokes, drinks, and would make out with anything that has a pulse. He'd probably get into a ladyboy so long as he'd get some action. He's quick to make a move too.

The sky was a mixture of lavender and baby blue, the sun resting just above the break between sky and sea. Clea was loving it onThe Maiden's Kiss, with the fun activities and the late dances. She enjoyed relaxing on the sun deck and slow-dancing with handsome boys from around the world. Especially a brown-haired boy from Paris she met last night.

"Are you having fun?" Clea turned to see her mother staring up at the sky with her.

"I love this. I could stay here forever." Clea smiled, leaning on her mom's shoulder.

"That would be nice." Mom chuckled lightly. She was about to say something when the boat jerked violently. Clea and her mother stumbled, grasping the edge of the boat for support.

"What was-" Clea broke off with a cry as she was flung to the ground. The boat swayed and swirled, throwing many people around. People screamed and cried out in alarm. Things fell from the tables and flew around, smashing and crashing into God know what.

"Clea! Grab my hand!" Mom screamed, reaching for Cleac. She desperately grasped the air, tears rolling down her eyes. She was going to die. All of them were.

"MOM!" Clea yelled. Her mother lost her grip on the edge of the ship and was flung into the sea. Clea screamed and whipped her head around wildly, looking for her father. Clea lost her grip and flew backwards, knocking into the bar. She smacked her head against the counter.

Her vision blurred, and all went black.

Clea groaned and sat up, wincing painfully. She had a massive headache. She rubbed her eyes until her vision cleared, then she looked around, confused. Where was she? Se was on the boat, talking to her mother, then- Mom! Ignoring the searing pain behind her eyes, Cleas whirled around. Her fuzzy eys counted five guys and four girls, all of ghem too young to be her mother or father. No. No!

"Mommy? Daddy? Please say you're here!" Clea wimpered, looking around desperately. "Mom! Dad!" Clea stumbled around, screaming for her mother. She tripped over a boy's outstreatched arm and collapsed next to him. She passed out.
