Every object has a memory.

And every person can sense that memory, upon touching them. Whether sight, sound, or emotion, every person gets a glimpse into the past each time they touch something. Each person is gifted with one of these three Remembrances, and no more.

Or at least, that is what people think.

New generations are growing. There are those rare few who possess multiple Remembrances, and rarer still, those who cannot sense the past, but the future.

In this world, people are protective about their possessions due to the secrets they hold, and are generally tentative about touching others due to skin-memories - touching someone else leads to a mutual memory-share that usually only happens between people of extremely close relationships. Most people cover up the majority of their arms and skin with a thin (sometimes transparent) covering in order to get through life without being overwhelmed by constantly absorbing memories from the things around them. Most people take little heed of the memories they do feel, as they rarely make sense or hold any significance.

For these people, however, their powers hold the secret that may be able to save them.

Appearance: Dark red hair down to her waist usually has it up and always has hair ribons with her usually one on her wrist the rest in her pockets pale skin freckles on the crests of both her cheeks thin curvy 5'10
Personality:
She is a sweet person at heart, it takes a lot to earn her trust but when you do she is very loyal, she loves colors bright and dark, she is not the most obedient child, she can lose her temper , she understands things more than people think, and she is in love with life and intends to experience it to the fullest.
Other personality: She likes music, fighting, drawing, singing, just being herself, all dark and bright colors except for pink, animals, and flowers. She dislikes hate, people yelling, not being able to fight, pink, and preppy people. Strengths: She knows how to fight, she's a natural born leader, she is very persuasive, she is a loyal friend, and she knows how to cook almost anything. Weaknesses: She has odd habits like counting random things such as birds, plants, and stones, she has a bad temper, she talks to the plants, she isn't the most obedient person but if she likes the person and they ask her something she will do it, and if she gets hit behind the left knee she is down and out.

Flaws: She is true to her name and loses her temper easily.
History: She lost both her parents when she was 7 and went into the Saint Francis orphanage for 11 years never being adopted so now she rents an apartment close to the middle of town. She still visits the orphanage where she was everyone's 'big sister' and she loves children usually when she visits she will play and sing a song for the children she donates half of her paycheck to the orphanage and helps keep it afloat because it's not doing well.

Other: She can play the piano, violin, and guitar. She loves to sing and draw. She works at a candy store called 'Sweet 'n Sour.' She has an rottweiler/german shepherd mix named Gavin.

Name: Franklin 'Frankie' Dubois
Age: 17 ( and a half )

Type: Sight and sound Remembracer

Appearance: Frankie Dubois is a boy with a big smile. His father was a french diplomat and his mother an African supermodel. His mixed heritage gives him bronzed brown skin, curly brown hair and a dazzling white smile. He inherited his mother's large brown eyes, his fathers delicate nose but his winning smile is completely his own.
He is six foot tall and is quite fit and liked to wear your average jeans and t-shirt.

Personality: Frankie is the cheery, happy sort of guy. Always smiling and always willing to crack a joke, he is like-able but to the extent that he is annoying. People compare him to a rocket ship, always full of energy and ready to jump into action. But after a while people who are not as enthusiastic as Frankie often find him annoying. Frankie is not the sharpest tool in the shed, often talking before he thinks and lacks his father's logical mind. He also gives the impression of naivety but he is anything but. He never gets angry and always assumes the best in people. Always the optimist, he grabs life with a vigor others only wished they had.

He likes being happy, happy people, annoying people and having fun. He dislikes things that are boring and serious people and being reminded of the past.

Flaws: Frankie gives of the impression of stupidity, although he isn't a genius he isn't stupid either but people tend to under estimate him and never take him seriously. He is also quite clumsy and is a joke to most people. He also has a fear of flying and heights.

History:

The son of a Diplomat and a supermodel, Frankie spent most of his young life jet setting around the world. He had a happy childhood, his parents spoiling him. Unfortunately his parents where killed in a plane crash, only Frankie survived and since then he has been afraid of heights and planes. He spent the rest of his young life with his grandmother in England. The transition from luxury mansions to the suburbs was hard for him so he adopted his happy persona to deal with the pain of losing both parents.
His grandmother isn't rich so he models for cash, he plans on being a psychologist in the future but is constantly told he is to stupid.

Up for love: Yep, he's straight but won't mind experimenting. He is the long term relationship type and tends to be a little full on.

Other: His talents include making people feel better about them selves, smiling, striking a pose and he is a Bassoonist : D

Name: Pia "Young Sister Fate" Secreta
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Type: Sight Future
Appearance: red hair, blue eyes, white skin. Wears blue to match the eyes.
Personality: slightly insane, but loves chocolate and apple. Very empathic since birth. Doesn't like to be touched in fear of the power she has. The latter gives her the nickname Young Sister Fate.
Flaws: At the oddest times, she goes insane over a multitude of things- the biggest being the loss of a loved one. It's been rumored that her insanity involves her type, but nobody knows for sure why.
History: Pia is the fifth generation of a nobleman/royalty bloodline. She's only royal on her mother's side. Pia can only see unfortunate fates to the lucky and vice versa. Despite being the only female offspring in a family of ten children, Pia enjoys looking at the stars from time to time. She's known to stammer when nervous or at the worst of times. At the news that her twin brother was murdered at ten years old, Pia was driven into madness and kicked out of the house since she has no twin to stand in her defence. Although she still lives by herself, she often eats chocolate or an apple every year to honor her twin's life.
Up for love: Pia wants someone who can love her for just being herself.

Type: Sound Remembrancer

Appearance: Reuben is an average height, and usually dresses quite smartly. He is rarely seen without his pair of long black gloves, which he only takes off when certain of being alone or for brief periods when he wants to Remembrance.

Personality: Reuben is usually on a low-level alert of the people around him, and although he tries to keep his personal space issues less obvious, to most people it is pretty evident. Reuben has a not-so-slight fear of what an emotional connection with another person would mean in terms of sharing memories and feeling, and as such tends to refrain from seeking emotional closeness with other people - whilst he gets on well with others he is loathe to talk about anything personal and will often change the topic to something more light-hearted.

Flaws: His inability to confide his feelings to others means that at times they can get trapped inside him and make him irritable and distant. Sometimes he is too persistent and can wind people up alot by refusing to drop a topic that they don't want to talk about.

History: Reuben has always been curious of what his remembrancing skills can be used for - whilst he is overly wary of letting other people use their powers on him, he is ridiculously nosy and enjoys finding out things about other people, often buying things from the second-hand shops that become rarer with every passing year. It was this fascination with remembrancing that led him to start his own detective agency little over a year ago, with him and several recruits using their remembrancing to try and track down missing people and solve crimes. Only now, they're stuck on a case with no trail, no clues whatsoever, and he's getting desperate.
Rumours about Futureseers and dual Remembrancers have been floating around for years now, but Reuben thinks they could be more than this, and has resolved to track some down to see if they can help solve his case.

Appearance: Golden hair at chest length, red eyes, brown skin. Wears black mostly, but also blue to show his royalty.
Personality: Empathic towards those who were prostitutes, but very compassionate to the ladies. Kind at heart and selfless at birth. Also at birth, he's a little bit of a touch-me-not because of his type. Has a crush on Pia Secreta.
Flaws: Daniel is highly against prostitution since he almost was a prostitute himself at eighteen years old. At the sight of a brothel, his eyes tend to blaze orange and he begins to lose his fiery temper. Hurt a woman in Daniel's presence and you're in deep trouble. He doesn't know his own strength when he's enraged, but he'll know what happened during his outrage. His temper seems to be his greatest flaw, which might end up being his downfall.
History: Daniel is the eldest of eight children from nine generations of royalty. Although he is heir to the throne, he doesn't like the life of luxury he was born in. He often shares his fortune with subjects who are in need and shows mercy to criminals- much to his parents' surprise. At eighteen years old, Daniel was abducted by theives who sold him to a brothel somewhere in Venice. He managed to escape the brothel two months later and went into hiding in Ireland where he worked as a farmer and secretly fell for Pia Secreta. Daniel is currently attempting to prove his love for Pia and- if luck is at his side- might seize the moment into proposing to her.
Up for love: Daniel has a monster crush on Pia Secreta, but hasn't got the heart to tell her he loves her.

Name: Nick Burns

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Type: Sight/Sense Remembrancer
Appearance: Nick is a redhead, with a bunch of freckles and green eyes. He is around 5' 7" and is fairly athletic.

Personality: He is generally a nice person, but also pretty sarcastic most of the time. However, Nick is fiercely protective of his friends, and would never intentionally harm them. He loves to run, and read, because reading helps focus his power (by seeing the stories of those who have already read the book). He hates bullies and being in crowded areas. He has severe acrophobia. Nick is an intelligent person, but he can be headstrong, especially when his friends are in danger.

Flaws: Nick is severely overprotective of his friends, and will fight anyone who insults one of them.

History: Nick can't remember his parents, and has been living in foster homes since childhood. He was a difficult child, and was always being shifted around. At 14 he grew tired of this and ran away. He has been living on streets for two years now. He discovered his gift at around 11 and has been honing it since then.
Up for love: Yup.

Other: He has seen some pretty terrible things on the streets, and this is a factor in his overprotectiveness.

Personality: Danny is a girl disguised as a dude for reasons no one will know. All you know is that he's another man who has this ability. He's outgoing, kind, and wacky. He likes to crack jokes, usually corny ones, and get a laugh or two.

Flaws: he isn't strong and doesn't know when to stop talking.
