Welcome to The Lost Sea. We're beyond the edge of the map now.

Plot: Port Carlisle is a peaceful place, a small port-town on Eclipse Island: A haven for merchants and their ships. Life is usually peaceful here, although recently, there have been rumours of town on a neighbouring island being destroyed. Merchant ships that sailed into Port Anne saw nothing but destruction. The town had been levelled, completely destroyed. They believed there to be no survivors, but they were mistaken. There was one and only one person who survived—a young boy, barely into his teens. He told them of a ship called The Lady Lyttleton. It was a ship that had been terrorising the area, and beyond, for years.

Eventually the ship that picked the boy up, a ship by the name of The Golden Rose, sailed into Port Carlisle. They came with news of Port Anne, and a tale. A tale the boy had overheard. The pirates on The Lady Lyttleton were immortal. Cursed by a sorceress., according to the boy. They were doomed to sail the seas forever, unable to die.

The Golden Rose left the boy in Port Carlisle and set sail for Singapore. As they disappeared over the horizon, The Lady Lyttleton appeared from behind the cliffs. They raided Port Carlisle, took food, alcohol, weapons, gunpowder, and several captives—Mainly women, some rich, some poor. It didn’t matter. And then they set off to follow the Rose.

Our story starts aboard the Lyttleton. Are you a pirate, immortal or mortal, or are you a captive? Which ship are you on? And whose side? No matter who you are, be you pirate or captive, join us as we become lost in a new sea.

Appearance: She's petite and very feminine, she stands at 5'4" and only weighs about 115 Lbs. She stands straight, elbows in, and all that polite stuff they teach you. Her hair a slightly lighter then the picture.

Personality: She's quiet, and doesn't speak unless spoken to. She's also very low on self esteem. often in her life she was told she wasn't good enough. She hates her father and the man who was supposed to be her future husband, and most men in general. She would often run off to the garden and hide in the rose bushes, laying in the sun, her favorite thing to do. She was quiet good at hiding and running, but when it came to fighting she was weak.

Flaws: Distant, weak, and afraid of men.

History: Her father had set her up with a wealthy man, with high hopes they would one day marry. Like she had all her life, she did as daddy wanted. When she found out the mans family was really broke and he was just using her, she tried to tell her father, but he didn't believe her. When the man found out she new, he was desperate to make her his. He raped her, and as he was about to come after her again, she stabbed him. She still hasn't forgiven herself for that.

Appearance: Tall-ish. He stands at 6' even, and weighs 220lbs. He slouches a bit, and often leans on whatever is close to him.

Personality: Cold, silent. He follows orders well, whether he likes them or not, and is loyal, but you can see the blood lust in his eyes when he kills someone. He says so much without saying anything at all, you can tell exactly what he's thinking just by the way he glares at you. The only person he'll talk to are those of higher authority then him, and even then, only if he is spoken to first. He isn't good at communicating, and never asks for help. He can't swim.

Flaws: too proud to ask for help, uncaring, can't swim.

History: He was 'abandoned' at a young age and found by a pirate aboard the Lady Lyttleton, he raised Kreed as his own. Taught him to fight, shoot a gun, and that the captain is always right. The boy showed talent as a pirate, but was always distant from the crew.

Appearance: Lilly is tall, about 5'6, with long, black hair that reaches the middle of her back, pale skin and dark green eyes. Often seen wearing darker coloured dresses, such as the bronze dress below.

Personality: Kind, caring, loving, distant, determined, and fiery, Lilly has a fiery temper but is friendly and kind--unless she's angry (which is when her friends and family are being harmed/threatened). Although her temper has a shot fuse, she doesn't lose it often and prefers peace to violence. She doesn't like to fight but can and will use her dagger if she needs to. Lilly often seems timid and shy, though it's usually just a mask to distract others. She can be really brave and proud, but doesn't like Pirates. She thinks they're filthy scum. Loves the sea, swimming, the moon and stars, sailing, shells, running, climbing and cats. Dislikes pirates, anything pirate-related and Captain Sawkins--especially him. She's fast on her feet, knows how to use a dagger and can swim but she's hopeless at anything other than the dagger. Can't cook, can't ride and doesn't know how to sail a ship, or a boat.

Flaws: Her short temper and her poor fighting skills when not using a dagger. And her courage and pride-both have gotten her into trouble on occasion.

History: Lilly grew up in Port Carlisle. Her father is a merchant by the name of Edward Angell, but there's more to him than trade, although, Lilly could never figure what that could be. Until now. Set to marry some rich young man, Lilly found out that the man she was to marry was a pirate. And what's worse is that he called her father a pirate too! Next thing she knew, Port Carlisle had been raided and she was taken captive. And then she was thrown into the Captain's Quarters with another girl. Now this can't be good....

Other: The pirates didn't search her, so they never found the dagger hidden in her bodice. Lilly has two siblings, a younger sister who is in England and an older brother than she hasn't seen in years;there are rumours of him turning pirate.

Age: 19, approaching 20.

Appearance: Long, pale blonde hair and blue eyes. Tall and spindly, with long limbs. She's an athletic girl, and is very rarely without a smile on her face. She cannot, for any reason, stop moving, and is often seen tapping her foot or drumming with something, if she's not off playing monkey. Wears baggy and patched up black trousers and a dark blue, tattered loose shirt.



Personality: Playful and hyperactive, mischievous and sneaky. She's the one who's always running around and acting way younger than she is. She'll do whatever she can to prove herself, and it could very well be the death of her. And that's another thing- she wants, so badly, to be like the rest of her crew. Immortal. But she keeps that hidden; it's a selfish wish, she knows, and the rest of them would go all philosophical on her if she even spoke a word of it. Behind the hyperness, behind the mischief and lovability, she's terrified. Terrified that she won't be up to scratch, terrified that she'll lose all this, terrified that they really, honestly don't want her there. She's just a scared girl, really.

She doesn't sleep easy, and is often out on deck at night. She loves it- it's chilly and eerie and beautiful. She also loves climbing in the ropes, especially during rainstorms. She'd kill for red velvet cake, and for anything sparkly. She hates humidity (that's when she'll be highest up on the ropes) and won't even touch an empty bottle of wine. She hates splinters, but since she's always barefoot, she can't really blame anyone else. Loves her ship, loves the crew, and loves the seas.

Flaws: Easily distracted, hyperactive. Usually doesn't get enough sleep, and doubts herself a little more than average. Despite her speed and strength, her aim is... bad. She has a knack for stealing and lying, and she honestly doesn't mean to... she just does.

History: She was once, long ago, the daughter of a wealthy man. She was once, long ago, called Rebecca. She was once, long ago, afraid of the world.

And then she ran.

Secret/s: Plays violin wonderfully, and loves it. But, since there's not exactly a bounty of string instruments lying about, she can't play.

Appearance: Kaidrec is of a medium build, with a thin face and an upper body riddled with scars. A small, still growing beard frames his chin and jaw line. His eyes are a medium blue, and hair a dark brown. Kai stands at 6' tall and weighs just less than 185 pounds.



Personality: Kaidrec is what some would call a "gentle giant". Respectable, kind, and completely unprone to foot-in-the-mouth syndrome, he finds it both easy to make his way into a person's heart, but to also become a door mat. He is constantly guarding himself against opportunism and thus is sometimes stand-offish in situations. Kaidrec always takes joy in the small things, and tries as hard as possible to never do things he will regret.

Flaws: One of Kai's biggest flaws is his attachment to friends. Losing a friend to him is a huge blow and can often render him useless for periods of time. Amongst that are other, smaller flaws; such as his long-fused temper, a rare occurrence of poor judgment, and his emotional past.

History: Kaidrec grew up in a poor home. His father, a failed merchant trader, could never fully afford to keep his family fed and often times Kaidrec was left to fend for himself food wise. At the young age of 13, his mother and one younger sister were brutally murdered during a house raid that was caused by his father's poor selling tactics, and he has since despised his father. At 14, Kaidrec left his father's home to work at the port, paying most of the coin he brought in for a bed at a local hostel. Soon after his 17th birthday, Kaidrec found love in a woman named Romalyn, who soon became his fiance.

Secret/s: Kaidrec hides the truth about his mother, and rather tells anyone who asks that she was killed in the raid. Kaidrec also hides that all the scars on his upper body came from scraps with other port hands and sailors in order to bring in extra coin just to feed himself, and his fiance, who was killed in the raid of Port Carlisle. Kaidrec always thinks of her whenever he sees a rose of any color, and thus will become emotional.

Appearance: With dark brown wavy locks that end just below her shoulder, Skye is rather pale, despite being a pirate. She has chocolate brown eyes that can silence you with a glance and looks much more like a proper young lady. she always has her hair up and usually wears dark brown breeches and a white baggy shirt (sorta like Will Turner).

Personality: She has a no nonsense attitude and prefers to work before to have fun. She's very hardworking if not a bit ambitious. She always has a bored expression on her face and rarely shows emotion. She is actually very lazy and usually is seen in teh crows nest napping. She is emotionally stable and doesn't ever get mad. She could get disappointed and would rather solves things by talking,not yelling.
Flaws: She doesn't follows orders, preferring to go with the flow. She also has low stamina, can't fight for very long and would rather settle thinks over by talking or preferring not to do anything at all.
History: She used to be the captain of her own ship called the Skye Sailor. She was a good pirate, leading her crew to riches and wealth. However when she was 20, she offended the same sorceress who cursed the pirates of the Lady Lytteton and her ship now rests at the bottom of her sea with her crew along with it. She's been with teh Lady Lytteton eversince, hoping that one day she could raise her ship from teh depths and sail the sea as captain once more.

Other: She's obsessive over her hat, always wearing it and never loses it. It's made with brown leather and is three pointed. She wears a white bandana under it.
Secret/s: She absolutely loves rum and any other alchoholic drink. Whenever she gets drunk, secrets of her will start to spill.

Personality: This girls a spit fire, she stand up for what she thinks is right and what she thinks she deserves. Shes not afraid to get her hands dirty and do what she wants to do.
Shes clever and bookwise, but can be violent and aggresive when she needs to be. She'll help whoever she thinks she can trust. She's always been trustworthy but a really good liar.

Flaws: Very rarely she'll become very shy and won't talk at all...it usualy happens if shes placed in a room were she don't know anyone. If she hears or sees any of her friends or siblings getting hurt she will become defencless whan sshe needs courage the most.

History: Hev came from a rich family, so becuase of that people use to think she was obediant and would do whatever you asked her to do. She put up with it for 10 years until she broke free. Before she got to get the feel of reality proper she got hekd captive^^^^

Appearance: Good physique, quite tall. Rarely stands still, always fiddling with something or fidgeting. Has an annoying tendency to loom over shorter people. This is probably intentional.


Personality: Callous and headstrong, Ben rarely takes heed of restrictions and follows his instincts at all times. He's very flirty and never takes things seriously - how bad can the consequences be when you're immortal? He dislikes impositions and routine, preferring to remain a free spirit. He has quite a short attention span and quickly gets bored by the everyday tasks of life.
Ben lives to be around other people, and strongly dislikes being alone. He's upbeat and cheerful and despite his flaws, is pretty hard to hate; his unfailing optimism tending to win others over. He often enjoys wasting time by hitting on the female members of the crew, though to little avail - and despite his obvious interest in the opposite sex, he remains very naive regarding the hardships of life - he still sees life as a kind of game.

Flaws: Often doesn't think things through before acting, not particularly clever. He's quite naive and could probably be easily decieved, particularly by a pretty face. Trusts too quickly, especially for a pirate. Doesn't learn well from past mistakes.

History: As a child, he was bought under the curse's spell due to his father's actions and has been immortal ever since. As a result, he's grown up with little care for the consequences of his actions, and kinda likes being immortal.

Name: Quinn "Luck" Sawkins.

Age: 34.

Appearance:Quinn is tall, around 6' even, with shoulder length dark brown hair and brown eyes. He's not exactly thin, but he's not exactly big either. He's average, and athletic. His skin is tanned from being in the sun a lot, and he tend to run his hands through his hair way too many times-especially when he's nervous. He is usually seen wearing a loose white shirt, dark breeches, a dark red bandanna on his head and simple shoes.

Personality: Quinn is often moody, distant, caring, determined, kind, loving and fierce, especially when protecting those he cares about. He can sometimes seem intimating but he does have a kind and loving side. He's also got a nasty temper, but rarely loses it. He's not prone to nasty outburst. When he was younger, he was often very single-minded and driven to catch the bad guys. He did catch them, but ended up joining them. You could say he's just a little obsessed with the immortal thing and doesn't like being immortal, but never complains. He likes his details. He fears death, and tries to be careful, but there are some things an immortal can't avoid. Likes warm weather, the open sea, fighting and sailing. Dislikes war, death, destruction, being replaced, feeling his age and cold weather.


Flaws: His temper, his fear of death. He often forgets about the captain's orders and has to be reminded.

History: Quinn and his brother were the sons of a Rich Lord and his wife. Quinn grew up the younger brother and was never expected to do much. Eventually, both Quinn and his brother turned to the sea. Quinn was the first to turn pirate. At first, he was on a ship called the Fortune and then he was captured by the Valliant, where he soon became captain.

And then, just when he thought things would calm down, the Lyttleton found him. And his brother was the captain. Quinn was caught by surprise when his brother asked him to join him. Richard was talking about treasure, something that could not be found until you were lost.

Quinn, of course, agreed, and the two sailed for this lost sea. During the voyage, Quinn lost his ship and most of it's crew. When the brothers returned from their journey, Quinn's Second-In-Command, Edward Angell, returned to the land, unharmed and still mortal. Quinn let him leave, defying Richard's orders. Richard never found out.

Now, Quinn is Richard's Helmsman and also cursed. Unable to die, the brothers and the crew of the Lady Lyttleton have been terrorizing the island towns of Port Anne and Port Carlisle and the surrounding area for years. They recently raided Port Anne and then Port Carlisle, taking several captives from Port Carlisle.

Other: Though he's the captain's brother, most refer to him as Quinn the Lucky or Quinn Luck.

Secret/s: He's the Captain's brother but no one knows and he prefers to keep it that way. Also defied Richard's orders by letting Edward Angell go free.

Appearance:

Personality: Fash was never a girl who laid back and watched her life pass her by. She's a spit-fire and won't let anyone, especially a man, stand in her way. She doesn't let anything get to her, even if it should, and many think she's wants to die with the stunts she pulls of the ship. She's a huge daredevil, but definately not a tomboy. If a man she sees is worth her time she'll act herself, but still make it up so she looks a little good. She has her own personal stash of 'womanly' things that she likes to delve into every now and then. She loves to smile, laugh, and hates to cry. Usually her tears turn into a hot angry fire, and she'll attack the first thing she sees.

Flaws: She can be too trusting at times. She wears her heart on her sleeve, and even though she shouldn't let certain things get to her, they do, more so than things that should get to her. She and Jax fight, a lot. As in, a lot a lot. They hardly ever agree, and that takes a major toll on not only themselves, but their ship as well.

History: Her father was a pirate long before he met her mother, who happened to be the princess of a faraway island. After saving her uncle from drowning in shark infested waters, her father was invited to the tribal lands. He met her mother, and ended up falling in love with the foreign beauty. He stole Lieah's mother away from her home, and they lived on the ship as the captain and his woman. Eventually, her mother had her, and died while giving birth. Her father never blamed her, but he didn't give her special treatment just for being her daughter. He would tell her every day that she looked more and more like her mother. When Fash was ten, her father became extremely sick. It wasn't contagiuos, but he was sick nonetheless. He stopped sailing after forty years of it, and went to his hometown. Lieah wasn't able to walk on the still ground at first, and many children made fun of her for it, but eventually, she got used to it. That's when she first met Jax, the only kid who stood up for her.

On her eleventh birthday, her father died and she moved in with an old woman down the street. She still constantly played with Jax, her best friend, whenever he wasn't with his family. When she was thirteen, she got her sealegs back and dressed as a boy and boarded a ship. The young captain found her out, and raped her, like he would any woman. He impregnated her and threw her out on a random island. As it turned out, it was her mother's island. She lived there until she was sixteen, with her son, before taking her son and running from a marriage they all wanted her to go through. She went back to her fathers home, and moved back in with the elderly woman.

When she was eighteen, she met with Jax again. They both got drunk, slept together, and then never spoke of that night again. They're still best friends, despite that one fling, and the flings they have whenever they both feel like it. Most of the time, however, it's just Jax getting drunk and coming to her, as there aren't any other women on their ship. Neither talk about it however, despite how much it hurts Fash not to speak about it. She knows Jax will deny it, so it doesn't matter.

Up for love: Yeah, but honestly, she only has eyes for Jax unless someone can prove themselves to her.

Name: Kayin

Age: 22

Appearance: She has dark skin and eyes that always seem very focused. What she's focusing about, it's hard to say. She carries herself straight and with confidence, something that almost demands attention. She's 5'6'' and quite thin, though she's not sure how much she weighs exactly.


Personality: Kayin's got grit.She's a very feisty, incredibly stubborn little thing, though she can usually keep her temper in-check....for the most part. One smug comment about her complexion or inability to speak, and you'll wind up with a bullet through your head. She's independant and tends to pick and choose which orders she follows, which isn't always a good thing on her part. She'll only follow those she deems 'worthy' of following, and would otherwise much rather lead. She's very passionate, however, and won't give up on something she's set her mind to. In fact, she usually doesn't know when to quit. She usually takes things very seriously, though she doesn't exactly have an all-work, no-play policy. She loves messing with people and has a knack for getting inside their heads with ease and can be very charming.
Though she doesn't look it, once she's found a leader she feels she can trust and is worthy of leading, she is very, very loyal. But even then, if she does receive an order she doesn't like, she either won't follow it at all, or she'll twist it to make it match what she wants.

Flaws: She doesn't know when to quit and doesn't know how to drop a subject. She'll carry on until she gets herself into trouble. She doesn't follow orders very well unless it suits her to do so, and would much rather do things her own way. She's also a very sore loser. She's not the greatest with swords, though if you give her one she'll try her best.

History: Kayin was born in Africa. She was born mute, though she was her parent's pride and joy as well as their only child. Her parents were both killed when she was seven and she was sold into slavery in England. Her first master was horrible to his slaves, and she thought things would get better after being sold again when she was nine. For a while, they did get better. Quite a bit better actually. Her new master wasn't nearly as harsh, and treated her with a decent amount of respect, as did his wife and family.
Though when she turned thirteen, the man and his family died along with a few of his slaves due to sickness, though Kayin never did understand which sickness it was. All that she understands is that she was fortunate enough not to catch it.
The next master she went to was worse than the first, and was her last. She belonged to him and his wife and their three children until she was eighteen. That's when she escaped a life of slavery, with the help of a huge fire (which resulted in a tragedy) and traded her old life for a life at sea.

Up for love: Mhm, have fun with this one.

Other: She's very, very proud of her skills with a gun as well as her ability to construct and fix almost anything. She tends to take things apart when she gets bored, only to put them back together again later. She does, however, try to hide this habbit as she's afraid of getting herself into a bunch of trouble for messing with the things on the ship.
She also has a pet Cappi monkey named Abi.


Secret/s: Kayin narrowly survived a pregnancy, almost dieing in child-birth when she was half-way through being fourteen. Everybody agreed that it was a wonder she made it through all right, as did her baby. They named her Ayomide, which means 'my joy has arrived.' The pregnancy was hidden, with difficulty, by a few friends Kayin had made. So was the birth and the baby.
They had nearly found the child multiple times because of the crying, but the slaves always found a way to keep the child safe. A little under four years later, about seven months after her 18th birthday, Kayin had another close-call. She had to escape, and she had to do it soon. Appearance: He has short black hair, and he often hacks it off with a knife when it gets too long for his likings. It usually gives him a scraggley appearance in the back, though it's not that bad. He stands about 6'3'' and has a very confident walk.


Personality: Jax is stubborn, firey, charming and a bit of an attention hog. He's always been a major flirt, and has taken things much too far in the past. He likes a good party and is usually very loud, if not a bit obnoxious. He likes his rum, though he tries to avoid getting too drunk. If he's drunk, how's he supposed to flirt? On very rare occasions, if a situation seems important enough, he will take things seriously. Otherwise he'll chuckle, smirk or crack jokes (possibly all three) at the most inapropriate times. Of course, when he's trying to be charming, he is very charming. He seems to be able to easily talk his way in and out of things and is a very good negotiator. He's a thrill seeker, sore loser and doesn't know how to turn down a challenge. (Especially if there's money involved.) He's a bit on the greedy side, and finds that for money, nearly anything is negotiable. Only nearly. He is a loyal friend once you get past the hot temper and tendency to lose all interest in his friends the second a beautiful woman walks by. He would never betray anybody he does actually care about, and when he tries, he's easy enough to get along with.

Flaws: He's got a major weakness for women, and just can't resist messing with them. He's also got a weak spot for money, and his greed often gets the better of him. (He's fair if he's with his friends, but if you aren't close, he'll probably take more than he should). He's not the absolute greatest with guns, though he can use one if he tries hard enough. He can't be wrong, and will get very upset if he is.

History: He grew up with his uncle, father and his two older brothers. He never knew his mother, as she disapeared when he was only two. Nobody knows what happened to her for sure, though there's a rumour that his father and his uncle had been fighting over the woman at one time. Jax's grandfather may have sided with his eldest son, and killed the woman in a drunken rage.
Though that's only a rumour.
When he was 11, he met Lieah. She was being picked on by a few of the kids, and he took it upon himself to stand up for her. They were fast friends, which was strange for Jax as he tended to flirt more than anything. He didn't start flirting with Lieah until they got older. When she left, Jax was secretly torn apart. He hid it, but he can't remember ever missing anybody in his life. He does and doesn't regret what happened with Lieah after they were reunited. He's also unsure how they're still best friends, considering how much they fight.
His two older brothers, like Jax, had a love for messing around with the local women, though they all took very different paths. His oldest brother took on the life as a traveling merchant, and Jax has aided in a couple raids of his brother's fleets. His younger older brother is a blacksmith, though Jax doesn't know where. He hasn't seen either since he was seventeen, and he's been on the ship since he was 18.

Up for love: Haha...if you manage to draw his attention enough, then yes. Good luck though.

Other: He's an excellent swordsman and takes major pride in his skills. He isnt' afraid to flaunt them. He also adores Lieah's dog.

Secret/s: When he was 17, he ended up getting "married." The wedding wasn't technically legible, though his "wife" did end up pregnant. She disapeared to heaven knows where. Jax now knows, through an old friend that died not too long ago, that he now has a daughter named Sophie somewhere.
He's still debating whether or not to go find her, as apparently his "wife" is now legitly married to a rich merchant.
He also keeps any major involvement with Lieah a secret. They all know they're friends, but other than that, they know nothing.
