Colt looked at Pippa's mom. "I hope its not my fault?" I said. "I didn't mean-"
"Zip it," she snapped. "Pippa."
"I better go," she whispered and walked away from him. He stood there for a minute, and looked around, he hoped that she would come back, she still had to do her chores. All he knew how to do was to feed the horses and brush them.
He needed to do something to occupy himself, so he started brushing. He wasn't sure what their feeding schedule was so he didn't want to mess it up.
"Hi Colt," Pippa's step sister said, "what are you doing here?"
