What side is Null on exactly? Resistance, professors?

Either. Whichever one he feels like or perhaps benefits him the most. Like Griff said, persuaded and he will join. But he needs to come back to the professors to get the plot moving.

Well...now that I have an opportunity to post, I have no idea what to write. What should Null do? He doesn't really know about the Resistance, nor does he care...Should he spy on people? Escape first chance he gets? Taunt 115? I need some help.

Spy, curiosity never goes wrong he has been locked for over a decade.

@SubtleSanity, he's only four. XD Can't have been there for a decade. But sure!
@Dante, isn't 115 knocked out? Should Null slip into his cell?
