if my recent post switches from between past tense and present tense, it's because it's really late and I'm REALLY tired.

I have a suggestion for a future event during the selection-a chance for the families to visit their girls at the palace once the numbers have dwindled somewhat. I suspect it'd lead to some interesting scenarios.

definitely some interesting scenarios. Do they have mobile phones? Also, I swear I'll try to post this weekend, but my teachers dumped tons of work on me >.> so I may do one quite long post.

Some of them do. The richer ones would be able to afford them. One of my talents is playing songs with mobile phone buttons :)

So 1-3 or 1-4? I read the book, so I'm pretty sure 5s would be too poor.

Yeah, earlier this year. Nice bit of escapism, though not the kind of novel I normally read. I was practically drooling over the descriptions of the dresses, though. (I'm a lover of the detailed descriptions). Haven't read The Elite yet, though. Have you and is it good?

So no phone for Nikola. Oh well. I'm definitely for the families coming then.

Well, until then there's always letters, too. You know, this thing called writing? On a piece of paper? Meeting in person does offer other opportunities, though, due to the immediacy and body language and all that. My girl's high enough class for a phone, but I have a feeling she's more of a letter girl except in case of emergency.

Okay, I hate to keep being a stickler, but our untouchable wouldn't bring attention to herself that she was, in fact, an untouchable. They're called untouchables for a reason. I think its cool having one, but it wouldn't be brought to attention.

I love the way the elimination looks, though!
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

I think it's just that everyone would know who's which caste, especially the media.

Mm, I was wondering about that too.. also, I think it might be more fun if not all of your characters were favourites - I don't think it would be insulting to anyone, and it could be fun to see some struggle more than others :3

Oh, and about Anna, the girl CIA sent to spy, she'd pretty much fit in and be all shy and nice and cute.. someone could eventually see her with Lance and think she's breaking the rules, though, or see through her somehow or idk xP She's an NPC, so for all I care you can even kill her, though CIA and Lance wouldn't be too happy about that xD

Seeing CIA's companion was mentioned, let's say Lance is there too.. in my mind, he's blonde and kinda cute, but not as confident as CIA in public.. and he loves Anna, so if he'd comment on the girls it would be mainly teasing xP
Basically I made him so CIA can show the actually nice part of his personality somehow in my posts <.<
