Ok, we'll be starting this very soon then! Check this in a few days for plot/character stuff before we start. I'm very busy but my schedule will clear up by the end of tomorrow.

We'll start off at breakfast, the day after Michael's shooting. Emily has already been thinking she'll escape for a while, and decides to take her plan into action after she talks to the leader and realizes that they have absolutely no remorse for what they did. The rest of the kids go about their daily lives. Then, once the eight are gathered together, they discuss strategy.
one kid would have noticed the patterns of the guards. They sneak in, steal whatever supplies they need, including keys to a car. Now none of them can drive; they get into an accident not far away and the leaders come back to get them. Or - is everyone's character American? If so, we can have them try to cross the border and they won't let them because they don't have passports.
If things were bad at the institute before, now they're hell. Kids are openly being beaten, starved, and killed; the leaders let their true colors shine. And the eight kids find a way to get the institute shut down after a big bloody battle.
That's my basic idea for the plot, anyone have any other ideas? I'll write up the first post very soon!

There's only about 100 kids in the entire school (50 girls and 50 boys) so everyone pretty much knows everyone. And I'm sorry about not posting. I've been super busy. I'll probably get to it tonight or tomorrow, but in the meantime if someone wants to post an average day in the life of their character that would be good. Rumors have starting floating around about the nature of Michael's dead. Emily will be in with the leaders so I'll write up a post about that and then have her join the others.

Guys - Emily just came into the lunch room and is sitting by herself. People are beginning to stare at her. I think we're good with lunchroom posts for right now, but if that's okay I'd like to skip to later that night, after dinner, to group therapy sessions since these are troubled children after all. They've done their work for the day and sit around a barren room with nasty burnt tea. The group therapy sessions will be divided into 8 people each (hence, our group will be the ones that run away) he supervisor has to leave get extra copies of a handout. Then they start talking and Emily relays her plan.
Is this cool with everyone? Any questions?
