Name- Jack Preston
Age- 14
Gender- Male
Role- Trainer

Personality- Jack is still a beginner in terms of training Pokemon, so he realises he needs a group to learn from. He is definitely not made for a leadership role and relies on his friends to help him a lot, but over the course of his journey he wants to become more confident and knowledgeable so that he can win on his own.

Appearance- Tall, Caucasian, wears trousers, sneakers, t-shirt with black vest, cap. Dark brown spiky hair that falls to about chin-length, light brown eyes.

History- Jack was born in Pyrite Town in Orre, but was moved to Saffron City soon after birth as his family (mother, father and the family Larvitar) feared for their safety in Pyrite. He went to school at Saffron City with Whitney (before she began training Pokemon), who always looked down on and ridiculed him. When she became the Gym Leader in Goldenrod City (a short train ride from Saffron, as you all know), Jack vowed to himself that he would defeat her one day.
His parents had other ideas, however, as they were paranoid due to their time spent in Orre, and expressly forbade him to leave. Cleaning the fridge one day, Jack was horrified when it tried to eat him, but calmed down when Rotom revealed itself and he realised it had only been playing. That very night he sneaked out of the house with Larvitar, Rotom and all his savings, and over the next month or so travelled to Vermilion City, catching a ferry to Olivine City and making his way via Ecruteak to Violet, taking special care to avoid Goldenrod.

Equipment- PokeGear.

Skills- He learns quickly, especially from his mistakes, and he is especially loyal to the people he becomes friends with.

Weaknesses- He is not at all knowledgeable about Pokemon, knowing only the absolute basics.

Name: Sierra Stone
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Role: Trainer

Personality: Self-assured, confident and composed, Sierra knows what she wants and how to get it. She’s good at maintaining a happy facade, but she can get in dark moods that she has trouble snapping out of, and she can be quite cynic at times. She’s playful and sly, not above playing with people, but she also gets attached very easily—a bit too easily, actually.

Appearance: Very light-skinned, with pale, almost ashen-blond hair falling to her shoulders and light grey eyes. Sierra looks good, and she knows it. She likes dressing up, but knows all the fancy stuff isn’t the most practical when running around the world, so she’s usually found wearing more sensible jeans, sneakers and sweaters, usually in shades of pale blue, grey and white, with the occasional splash of bright color.

History: Born in Cianwood, Sierra didn’t spend all that much time on land as a child. Wealthy and bored parents meant a lot of being lugged around cruises and parties and exotic locations and no say in the matter for her. By the time she was ten she was already more than ready to get away and do something of her own, and her chance came when she stumbled on a pod of Lapras that had apparently just landed on the island she was on at the time. They somehow let her run around and swim with them, and when they left she found an egg they’d left behind. The Lapras that hatched was her first Pokemon, and as soon as it had grown enough she went and declared her intention to leave. She was met with little to no resistance, and so began her adventures.

Equipment: Pokegear and pokeballs hooked to her belt, good rod, berry pots and bicycle.

Skills: Has an eye for the weather: she can feel storms coming from a distance. She’s a good judge of people, and can smile her way out of most problems.

Weaknesses: She gets overconfident and bite off more than she can chew. A bit too pessimistic at times, she jumps to the worst of conclusion

Name- Kent Warner
Age- 14
Gender- Male
Role- Trainer

Personality- Kent has a big ego; he thinks he’s going to be the best trainer, solely because his dad got him special Pokemon. His temper is the opposite though, really short, and flammable. When he isn’t about to battle, or thinking of battling, he is an okay guy though. It’s just the idea of a challenge that fires him up.

Appearance- He has medium length, black hair that literally puffs up when he is worked up/stressed out. Has bright, fiery-hazel eyes, and is 5’ 7”, with long legs. Always has on a navy jacket, and a white and blue hat, the form fit kind (I can’t think of the word.)

History- He grew up in a town away from Blackthorn City, called Dragon’s Field. The town was/is used to home young dragon type Pokemon, before going to be trained at the Dragon’s Den. His dad was the care taker for the place. Before he left, his dad got him a Gible, and a Swinub, which do not get along well.

Equipment- Basic Mountain climbing Gear, a hard, flexible, plastic head guard (for defense again Gible), Berry Pots, with Sitrus, Aspear, Lum, and assorted Poffin berries. Dowsing Machine and a Good Rod.

Skills- He is an expert at making Pokemon food, Poffins, and Pokeblock. He knows ways to calm almost any Pokemon down, from a Cleffa to a Snorlax, having learned from his dad. He works best with Speedy Pokemon.

Weaknesses- Can not make human food. Short tempered, and has a short attention span, easily giving up on things, and takes effort to get him to pick it up again. Is terrible with larger Pokemon. Most of his team hates him, or is lazy.

Name - Samuelle Park

Age - 13

Gender - Female

Role- Trainer

Personality- Sam is a tomboyish person who always pushes the limits. She'll never back down from a dare. She's an optimistic person, and though she's quick to pick fights she's quite loyal to her friends. She is very ambitious as she feels the need to show her brother that being a good trainer doesn't mean leaving behind your family and friends. She constantly needs to prove herself even though there's no true need to do so. She's a helpful person all around, always doing what she can to pull her own weight.

Appearance - She's kind of in that awkward growing up stage, so she's all lanky. Not tall, mind you. She's of average height. Short black hair...blah. See picture below.

She likes wearing shorts and shirts with sneakers. She lugs a backpack around. It carries everything she owns, except of course for the bicycle.




History - Sam lived a relatively normal life, except for her brother being a renowned trainer. She misses him as he's never home and he hardly ever pays attention to her or her mother. Her father is a travelling pokemon professor. She feels pressured to live up to her brother, who's stayed away from home ever since her mother disapproved of his girlfriend. (On a side note, Sam despises her brother's girlfriend.)

Her Charmander is a gift from her brother's girlfriend, as a sort of bribe. She continues to insist it comes from her brother, though, and refuses to admit that maybe her brother's girlfriend is a nice person after all. Her Bagon is the first Pokemon she caught on her own, and she adores it as much as she adores Charmander.

Equipment - Bicycle, Pokedex, Berry Pots

Skills - She's a happy camper, so she knows basic stuff like tying knots, foraging for food and building a campsite. She can climb trees and run distances.

Weaknesses - Sucks at fishing, often picks fights she can't win and never says no to a dare, no matter how dangerous. Often gets into trouble but is too stubborn and optimistic to accept help. Is terrified of weedles but will never admit it. She can't swim either, but she's not about to admit it, even if she's drowning.

Name- Tyler Cohen

Age- 14

Gender- Male

Role- Water-Type Trainer

Personality- In elementary school, Tyler was always the one with a huge pile of cards on his desk on Valentine's Day. His personality is magnetic and strong, and he's kind and caring, but daring and brave. He's not afraid to 'go there' and likes to feel important, even if his role in a situation isn't key. Tyler doesn't really have a bad side, and it's led to others walking over him in the past, only to be brought down a notch by his friends. His most personal acquaintances know him best by his obsessive need to be clean and precise in his appearance.

Appearance- Tyler was born with a natural condition in which his hair grew into an aquatic blue with age. He wears a black and aqua-blue headband at all times. All of his outfits are coordinated around the headband, bringing him into a fashion pattern including only black and blue clothes. He wears black bands on his wrists and ankles.

History- Tyler was born in Cianwood City and raised there until his parents grew worried that the currents near the Whirl Islands would begin interfering with their little piece of paradise. They moved to Olivine City when Tyler turned 7. He stayed with his parents until he turned 10 and his mother fell ill with a raging fever. Not wanting Tyler to see his mother die, his father sent him off to Ecruteak City to stay with his older cousin Morty, along with a Pokemon his father had caught back in the Whirl Islands.

It took a lot of coaxing, but Morty finally let Tyler out on his own Pokemon adventure with both a new Pokemon and a vow: that he would return to Ecruteak and challenge Morty to the greatest battle of his life. Tyler set out, determined to become the greatest trainer he could ever be.

Equipment- On his belt, he keeps his Pokegear (phone, radio, map) and a set of six pokeballs, two of which have been filled. It was Morty's suggestion to do so, advising that, "If you truly belong with a Pokemon, then your team will fill itself. It's something magical." He always keeps a good supply of berries on him, but is heavily reliant on Pokecenters to keep his human needs in-check. He has ignition fluid for lighting campfires and a flashlight for dark caves, but little else.

Skills- Tyler is good at thinking on his feet and keeping a level head, no matter what the circumstance. He has the curiosity of a panther and the superstition of a teenage witch. He's physically fit, so a hike or a trek through a cave is no big deal to him.

Weaknesses- Given his superstition, he is deathly afraid of the supernatural, with only one exception: his ghostly pal Ghastly. Morty had fun playing ghost-pranks on Tyler while they lived together, and it made him that much more effected by the spooky and eerie things that go bump in the night. Given that, he rarely travels at night, even in a safe environment.

And another new idea.

So, in Olivine the gym is for steel types. We could make the town famous for their steel type Pokemon. And so, the idea becomes more...deadly.

Basically Grave returns, this time using super sonic waves/magnet frequencies or something. What happens is it drives Steel type Pokemon mad, making them get destructive. As a result the streets begin to go mad. Can't think of a solid motive, beside destruction. Though that seems to be the point of Grave.

The Bracket for the Tourney.

Name- Chelsie Summers

Age- 14

Gender- Female

Role- Trainer

Personality- Chelsie is pretty much always happy. She doesn't get discouraged easily, and is almost always optimistic. She's not stupid, however, and is usually careful when battling with her beloved pokemon. She is overprotective, and has a fiery temper when someone hurts her friends or partners. Competition is serious business, and she's very competitive.

Appearance- Her hair is brown and usually tied into neat pigtails. She wears green and blues, and cares little about her appearance, so is often seen wandering around in overalls and tracksuits.

History- Chelsie grew up in a relatively normal life in celadon city, being the eldest sister out of three. She helped raised the younger children, loving babies of all kinds. She was well liked by children, often having much younger friends. Living in the area of the grass gym, she naturally chose a chikorita when the time came to select her first pokemon, and named it. She has since formed a strong bond with the happy go lucky, yet competitive pokemon. When she was twelve her family took a trip to Cerulean City, where she caught her first pokemon, Abra. She has since recieved a pair of eggs from her uncle, who hatched into pichu and togepi.

Equipment- Pokegear, collapseable bike, backpack, belt with six pokeballs, two empty; berry pots

Skills- Good with children and baby pokemon, and is pratical, so knows how to cook human food both on an oven and a campfire. She can read a map. Woot.

Weaknesses- When angry her persistance turns to borderline lunacy, pushing herself and those around her too far. She also cannot make poffins to save herself, confusing the berries.

Name: Lauren Daniels
Gender: Female
Age: 14

Appearance: A spunky, short blonde with bright blue eyes.

Personality: Lauren is, as previously said, a spunky blonde, but she is also shy under pressure. Nonetheless, she's determined to be the best friend she can be to her pokemon and any she meets. People are a different story, however.

History: Her dad is a scientist who worked mostly with electric pokemon. He even gave her a pikachu as a gift before she started travelling on her own. Larvitar was her first pokemon, however, found by her mother during her own travels. Lauren was raised by her father mostly while her mom went travelling a lot to collect and discover herbs or berries. Lauren was raised to care for the pokemon her dad worked with while also constantly digging her nose into his business. Much like her father, she's fascinated by pokemon yet cares for them as much as her mother.
