I will also add that Onlookers are rare and a very important breed for survival. Sooo, not everyone in the group can be Onlookers XD that just might very well be pulling away too many Onlookers from the town itself.

So Omni, what sorts of careers are you thinking have become necessities in this new world, and what are careers that sort of just... faded away?

That's a good question (and sorry I didn't answer! It was my friday and I was busy over the weekend, then forgor on monday x.x)

So, I think a lot of professions need to be practical for survival, but there should also be professions that are dedicated to studying and adapting to the threat and world of the Last Light.

There will also be professions that focus on communication and transportation, since that is difficult and dangerous in this new world. I don't have the time to provide examples, but I encourage you all to work on that on your end!!

buuut to recap:
-Survival (food, shelter, defense)
-Education (learning and understanding the new world, to better adapt, and maybe even conquer)
-Military (extension of survival but with combination of the old world order and government. Someone needs to lead the cities)
-Transportation and Communication

I was going to say this some time ago, but then I forgot, but the world building for this SB is really detailed! Like this would be the legit plot of a great movie. The amount of time and effort you put into this is insane, I can’t imagine doing that. Anyway, just popped in to say that. Happy rping and sbing! (Storybooking?? Does that even make sense??)

Some news:

I am taking a break from YWS for my mental health. What does this mean for my roleplays?

Right now, it means that my roleplays are also going on hiatus until January. I shall still be around on discord and will still check in every so often to see how everyone is doing. I am super excited to continue this roleplay, but I need to prioritize my mental health.

Now, this does not mean I'm abandoning this roleplay, or any of my roleplays, and I hope that, once January rolls around, we can jump back into the roleplay like there was no break. However, I know that that is not necessarily the case for everyone.

Thank you all <3 sorry for this hiatus, but I will most definitely be back to continue this story. In the meantime, you can continue brainstorming characters and powers. I will also be making a discord channel for this roleplay to continue discussion that doesn't require YWS (this is not mandatory)
