Spencer

I stood, looking at the two people. They were famous all around the world, Veego and LaBerge. Two people who invented, and hosted every game, legend was LaBerge was crazy, just by looking at him I knew it was true. Veego stared at me and my sister with cold eyes, as if determining just how long we would last. Laberge though was bouncing like a five year old at a candy store.

"Shari, Spencer. As you know your parents have gambled you into the games. So now you must compete...or die," Veego said.

"So die, or die?" I asked sarcastically.

"Oh little boy, it does not meann you will definitely die. Well not right away at least," LaBerge said. "Now, We will give you some time to unpack, then come back here. Number four, number fifteen, please escort our guests too their room."

Two identical servant dados (robots) walked over and began to direct us away. I followed number four, I think, to my room. My room had a blue square on it, that four told me meant it was mine. It instructed me to wash up, change into my new challenger uniform, and head back to the dinning room.

Doing as I was told, I went into my room and took a quick look around. Everything in it was a dark ocean blue, with fish and other sea plants painted on the walls, or in figure form hanging from the ceiling. I tested my bed, and knew it was a water bed. So far I was liking my room.

Finding the bathroom door was harder than I though, the door knob was built into a piece of fake coral, so I had to mark it before I went in. I quickly showered, and went out, and found my new cloths. The shirt was dark blue, with two vertical black strips on it, and a pair of navy elastic pants. Underneath it was a tracker, weird sense anyone here would already have one. Then it all made sense. My own began to glow green, and I felt it loosen around my wrist until it slipped off, I picked up the new one after that and put it on "Challenger tracker attached" it said in a metallic noise and licked to my wrist again.

Once I was all changed I left my room, and found number four still outside. "Ah, you have finished. Now follow me sir. it is time for your first game."

Next game rules: The two players will be places in a large room, scattered around the room will be mountain replicas that the players must scale to reach buttons. The first player to hit three buttons will win the game.

Not that simples though. The floor is rigged to move, forcing the players back, making holes under them, and other such obstacles. Alone with discs in the air that will attack the players randomly. The players may also attack each other any time they want.

Spencer

I stood One one side of the room. It was high, and circular, with all white paint. Sheri stood at the other end, she had a purple uniform on. We had agreed not to go easy on each other here, but not to kill each other. There was a creaking and groaning noise, as the floor opened up and miniature mountains began to rise up. They ended right below the ceiling, which was about fifteen yards up. Then there was a quieter one and discs fell out from the ceiling, floating at different levels.

A pair of boots, and gloves appeared next to me, which I slipped on quickly. "The game will began in thirty seconds, take this time to prepare," said a robotic voice.

"five...four...three...two..one!" said the same voice, and then I ran to the first mountain. When I arrived I saw it was smooth, with no where I could put my hands, how was I supposed to climb the thing? Then it hit me, or rather I hit it. My hand got pulled right onto the thing, it was magnets. Now that I knew what to do I put both hands on, and pulled my feet under me, and began to climb up. About half way up I felt a rush of wind, it was one of the discs in the air, I knew that much from watching the games. They would slice off my head, or arm if I let them get to close to me.

I kept going up, it got harder as I went, it was hard to scale a flat surface even with these gloves and boots. I arrived at the top a bit later, and found a set of six buttons. three blue, three purple. One of the purple was glowing, that mean Sheri was ahead of me. I quickly tapped a button, and began my way back down. I let one hand hold onto the mountain, loosely, while the rest of my body hung, letting me slide down.

Looking across the room I saw I had beat Sheri back down, and began to make my way to the next mountain. A disc flew down from above, and I saw it coming. I dove to the ground, just before it would have sliced my body in two.Just as I hit the ground it began to move, so I rolled straight off, and began to get up, when the floor under me moved again, making me drop straight on me ass. Ergh, meanwhile I was Sheri jumping over holes easily.

I got back up, and began to run again, and the floor fell in under me. Acting on instinct I grabbed the edge. These gloves had good grip, but I had nothing to get my feet on. This floor was only a bit thick, with the mountains keeping it up. I sighed, and struggled to pull my body up there. I had never had been good at it. With a lot of struggle I got up, and began to run again, I saw Sheri who was recovering from a fell heading to the same mountain I was. This was going to be a real race.

I rubbed my temples. I was getting a headache from moving as fast as I was thinking about where i was going. I watched as Spencer got a few feet ahead of my position. I sighed and got up only to leap back down as one of the flying discs rushed at my face. I feel on my back. I thrust my legs up and my torso soon followed. I started to sprint towards the mountain. I lifted my gloves and leaped up as I reached the wall. I stuck to it and started to pull myself up with as much strength as I had, which honestly...wasn't that much.
