Shane snorted. "As if that had anything to do with falling for me. We're friends Em, friends act like this."he said.

she shook her head. "No, no they don't. They don't act like this they act like hugging each other but not visiting each other in dreams. No, never in dreams." she said.

Shane blew out a breath not sure what to say to her he couldn't keep lying to her but he couldn't tell her the truth. "Em, you don't know what your talking about. James is very dangerous you dont know the things he does, things he could possibly do to you." Shane said, resting his arm on his knee.

"Like what?" she asked her lips pressing together. "Rape?" she said.

Shane winced. "Something like that." he closed his eyes.

"Has he done it to anyone else" she asked now worried,

"Yes Thats why I sould say with you" Shane said lieing badly.

Emily believed him and pressed herself against him and he wrapped his arms around her cooing in her ear.

"It'll be alright, i wont let him hurt you" Shane said in his calming voice.

"Dont leave me Shane" She cried.

Shane shook his head. "I won't." but he wasn't sure if he wouldn't, he loved her but if he had to leave her to protect her he would. If he had to die to protect her he would.

"Now isn't it time human went to bed" shane said then reliesing what he said,

"bed time for human? What do you mean?" She said.

"Its nothing, something my mum said to me" He said smiling,

"Oh wierd" She said as she laid on her bed. "Lay with me"

Shane laid with her wrapped his arm over her and breathed heavly. Pretending to sleep.

Shaned closed his eyes. He wasn't sure of what was going to happen, he couldn';t predict the future and he sure wasn't fast. At ANYTHING

It was 6am in the morning and she awoke, it was a rainy day as normal and she sat up seeing shane sitting on a rocking chair in the corner.

"Good morning sweetie" He grinned.

"Hello." she mumbled.

Shane grinned. "Your really cute when your sleeping." he said.

"Do you ever sleep?" she asked.

he nodded. "Sometimes." he said. "But I wouldn never pass up an oppertunity to watch you sleep. You drooled all over the pillow." he grinned.

Her face turned bright red. "Did not." she said.

His grin expanded. "Did too." he chuckled

"Well you will never be able to prove it" She said as she poked her tongue out.

He shaked his mobile phone in his hand, "Is that right" He giggled as a picture of Emily appeared on the screen.

She ran over to him trying to grab his phone but she fell into his arms. She looked up at him and pushed her lips against his.

"Please delete it" She pleaded

"No, I can't delete this, I might have something on you, so maybe you can bribe me later."

she huffed.

"And plus, it's my wall paper." he grinned.

"Oh my god"She said embrassed, "why would you want that as your screen saver"

"Its cute" He laughed. "I better get going, got to take my family to school"

"Ok see you at school" She said as she pressed her hand against his cold pale skin.

"Ow" She gasped as it burnt her hand.

"Nope." he kissed her and headed to his families place.

Emily headed out two to her red shiny volvo. She jumped in and road to school. When she got there she saw them. Shane's family were so beautiful. The was a tall black haired girl with perfect skin and her hair gently waves to the middle of her back. She looked like the sort of girl who would be on fashion mags. Next to her was a pixie type girl with pretty light brown eyes and blonde straight hair. Her ears sticked out of her hair, making her look more pixie like yet her skin was the same shade as her sisters. A tall muscliar boy stood next to them, he has brown curly hair and stunning green eyes, his skin a shade of cream that was different to the others. Black hair waved around the forth ones face, a young looking boys face hide underneath.

Shane hadn't seen Emily ever since he left rhe house and he couldn't smell her scent he flared his nostrils. He smelled her but where? He turned and she was already staring at him. He smiled at her in response. He saw her go pale and tired not to laugh at all.

"Emily." he said into her mind. "Come over here, or we'll go over there." he smiled

**no i didn't, I described them totally different to the cullens, also these are meat eaters not vegatarians. There is a girl and a boy with long black wavey hair. A girl with long blonde straight and pixie ears and a musclar guy with curly hair**

Emily walked over to the strange family, quite embassed as she did this as everyone stared at her.

Shane looked at Emily she was shaking and turning red.

"Emily, these are my sisters and brothers, not biologically but we all live together. This is Blake," Shane said pointing to the long black haired blue eyed girl. "This is Richard." he said pointing to a blonde haired guy. "This is Fangthe" he said pointing to the pixie. "Then last but not least, Marc." he said pointing to the black haried guy with bright violet eyes.
