Ki’nuu was only partially satisfied by that. It was clear the little fae was putting on a different face around his daughter than he did when they were alone. And she didn’t like that. Didn’t like fake people. She was the same regardless of who she was around — she didn’t pretend to be a jerk in front of some people and pretend to be innocent around others. But. Then. Maybe he just — mistakenly — thought he sounded cool when he was running his mouth. Maybe that was a failed attempt at building clout in Ki’nuu’s eyes. He did act like an adolescent boy after all. That’s how they tended to socialize.
“Mm…” Ki’nuu was quiet for a moment, then decided to drop it. Or, at the very least, table it. For now. “…did Aeron help you with the cu-sith?”
