she stopped cooking and walked towards him with a calm look in her eyes and didn't seem scared at all, she looked up at him and reached her hand up to his neck and touched it "you really are a beautiful beast, aren't you?" she smiled "i'm not afraid alright? if you want, i can get you some live meat if it doesn't satisfy you" her voice had a gentle tone to it but there wasn't a hint of fear in her voice
He snarled and clawed at her hand, baring his teeth. There was the very slightest bit of humanity left in him. Screaming not to hurt her. But. He was. So. So. Hungry.

she sighed and looked at her hand "this is going to be a long process, you've been isolated for far too long" she walked over to the deer and dragged it over to him, putting it in front of him "eat" she sat down next to him, still calm as ever and opened her book once again, starting to read, not caring about her injured hand
He snarled and pounced on it, enough to satisfy his carnal desires. He began ripping big chunks from the carcass and swallowing them mostly whole, snarling as he did so.

she sat there until he was finished while reading and she smiled "i'll make sure to get you a heftier meal next time so you have leftovers for when you get hungry again"
He growled at her, but made no move to threaten her again. He began grooming himself. His brain was confused. Food… but no act like food…

He pulled away, snorting, and dragged the carcass further away from her. Must… have distance. Don’t hurt.

"your fur is soft though" she frowned slightly and then remembered she had to aid her hand, she stood up and walked over to her bag, she pulled out some gauze and wrapped it around her hand, tying it off and put it back "i should go look for some more food for you, you can eat the cooked meat if you want, i don't plan on eating it anytime soon" she looked over her shoulder and smiled, the started walking deeper into the forest
He kept eating at the carcass, relieved she was leaving.

"i'll be back!" she yelled as she ran into the forest, then a few hours later she came back dragging a dead bear behind her which was freshly caught, her hand was bleeding through the gauze but didn't pay attention to it, she then made it to his den and flopped the bear in front of his den "here, told you i would get you a heftier meal next time, got a bit scratched up from trying to wrangle the bear, but i'll live" she sighed out of exhaustion but it was still broad daylight
He’d picked the deer carcass clean and dragged it away from his den. He looked up in surprise as she returned, snarling softly, but quickly tore into the bear.

she yawned but didn't wanna sleep just yet "if your in a better mood by then, are you ok with me sleeping in your den? its gonna get quite chilly soon and i don't think you would be happy with me freezing to death" she started dozing off slightly and stumbled but stayed awake
