Novels, short stories, poetry, lyrics, photos, scripts and essays! Everything is welcome at the Critic Clinic!

:smt024
Have a piece you want to be reviewed? Want to join a contest, but quite unsure about your piece? Posted a piece you're very very proud of and yet no one reviews or even checks it out? Heartbroken by harsh reviews? Well, my visitor, you've come to the right place!

Here at the clinic, we give open reviews of your choice! Yes, of your own choice! We have a number of packages of critiques which can fit the type of review you needs! We review ALL kinds of work! If your piece need a first impression, a steady comment or the acknowledged Quick Critique, then this Clinic is the right place to confine your work!

Here are the review packages we offer:
Spoiler! :
Quick Critique
One of the best for the average piece. The Quick Critique is a compilation of shortened reviews for four (4) writing areas which are based on the piece you want to be reviewed. This package is subtle and gentle, perfect for the sensitive. It's also very noteworthy and useful! ;) Comes with the combo is a smile-o-meter. If you want one, just type Quick Critique on your comment and state which type of piece you want to be critiqued. EASY, huh!

Kudos Revue
A simple review. It is the same as the Quick Critique, but is more concise and easier to read. Although it's inaccurate, it is very usable and is known to help a lot in personal pieces. It comes, instead of Smile-o-meter, with a Kudos Meter (one point per thumbs-up).

Smile-o-Meter
This meter comes FREE with Quick Critiques. After a short impression of your piece, this meter will be given. One happy smiley is one point, a smiling one is 0.8 points and a confused one is 0.3 points.

Point Out
PERFECT for STARTERS! This review doesn't only come with a Critique, but also pointers that can develop personal writing. After a comment is given, a short description will be given on the same topic to further develop clients. Wow!

Editor's Note
...is a review made by The Editor. This one's for very important pieces, per se, articles for a magazine or a college thesis. The Editor (my rough, technical side) will give a review more focused on the piece's technicalities, making this review best for public pieces. Caution: The Editor will not hesitate to be a bit...rough ;) .

QUALITY GUARANTEE:
Spoiler! :
We guarantee that the reviews given are honest and from the heart :smt049. Tired of people reviewing your pieces as 'it's so great, i love it!'? In this clinic, we treat our patients with utmost love and respect! We will give you the best reviews that can really help you with your piece!

So, you want one? Well then get one!
Leave a comment on this post and let the reviewing start!

Please state the piece you want to be reviewed, what kind is it and what package you prefer.

Thank you for visiting the Critic Clinic! Please come by again!

Hi, I would like a Quick Critique for my Keychain Magic novel which I am struggling with A LOT.

Keychain Magic was my big "epic" idea, so I planned out everything. I even have a sequel planned out for it because I was so pumped about it.

But when I started writing... well, things didn't work out. I didn't know where to begin. So I just forced it.

Here is the link to the writing.

Hey! Can I get a Quick Critique on a first chapter of my novel? I'd love a second opinion on it. Though it is rated 16+, is that okay with you? Thanks, and I think the whole concept of different review packages is totally awesome. :P

Hey Al!
If you're not too busy, could you review my poem? I wrote it a year or so ago but I would love to see some good feedback on it which helps me grow as a writer.
The "Point Out" package then? ;)
