Hello, I'm Empress and I'm here to review.

Things I will review
  • Poetry, any kind (including lyrics)
  • Short Stories (Horror and Romance are probably my favorite, but any genre.)
  • Bits of novels

I don't know where exactly to draw the line at novels, but lets say at around 30,000 words, give or take a hundred (that's about 70 pages.)

Things I won't review
  • Art and Photography (because I'm useless)
  • Complete novels
  • Essays (also useless)
What you can expect from my reviews
  • Grammar and spelling
  • Sentence structure and flow
  • Use of language and imagery
  • Reaction or interpretation (for poetry)
  • Character development, review of plot (for novels and short stories)

I really strive to give an honest, constructive review. If you need to something down to the foundations and do a major rewrite, I'll tell you. I can't always tell you exactly how to fix the problems in your poetry/short story/novel, but I can identify them and give you my reccomendations.

If any of this sounds useful to you, I'm at your service.

This can go on until September and then I have to figure out how much of my time is consumed by my AP classes.
Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart.

Well I surprised on one has commented yet :)

I took one AP class last year and it allmost killed me (and it was my best subject!). Good luck.

I have the first chapter of a novel called Escape. It's action and adventure and I'm extremely proud of it so I would like as many reviews as possible as I decide what to do after the second chapter. A review would be much appriciated :)
