With a review I can provide:
- Tips on sentence structure and word usage.
- The pointing out of grammar and spelling mistakes.
- An honest opinion on the work.
- Tips on formatting, such as paragraphs and sentence placement.
I can recognize style, and some people tell me I have an eye for things ( being me, I beg to differ). I can also point out what may be missing from a work, from character personalties to descriptions.
As to what I can or cannot review, they are as follows.
I cannot review poetry, as I do not understand the finer aspects of it, and I think I could not give an adequate review.
I also may not be able to be adequate with Romantic fiction, but I do feel like I can do it. Please be aware that reviews in this area may not be as good.
One more thing, if you wish for me to review fan fiction, please provide a short description of the source material (at least the information needed to understand the story), so that I may better understand what I am reading.
That said, I will review practically anything, be it historical fiction, science fiction, or not even fiction at all.
And it is all FREE.
One last thing, reviews can usually be done within 24 hours, though of course that depends on various factors (school and how busy I am are the biggest ones).
