University classes winding down and such. And I've dead-ditched any intent to take classes over the summer. ^^

...meaning I've a slight bit of time.

Anyhow, if you're poor in critiques--or poor in considered ones--ask here, da?

For precision's sake, and with Madmoiselle Suzanne's advice in mind:

The Imp Critiques...

Er, anything. Though I'm rather fond of Science Fiction and well-grounded fantasy.

UPDATE [ 31 Jan. 2010 ]

...Oy, after a bout with Death, I'm making a dash at living. Which means writing. ^_^ And reviewing.

That's all then.

The Epic Quest to a Far Away Land in order to Defeat Evil And Save The World. Erm, well-grounded? Does that mean fantasy satire?

If you could do all the chapters I'd drool over your slippers, but if you can't, then take thy pick. <--- Me: generous

I've a rather large story in the Advanced Critique section called "The Edge of a Straight Razor". But if you don't want to read that (it's like 14,000 words long, man, who would?), you can always read one of my two Sci-Fi section stories: "Shift, Shape. Shift!" or "Time Travel is Complex Stuff."

Wooster (nee Twit)--

Ha, anything written by you has got to be decently grounded, in a backwards, feet planted in the sky sort of way. ^_~ I'll get to that soon as may be...and, er, as many chapters as possible.

Icaruss--

I read "Razor"--rather a long time ago. You sent it to me, yes? I'd like to send you my impressions of it...as I never get to doing that previously.

Oh! Right! I did it for your contest, didn't I? I never really did thank you for that. It turned out pretty well, I guess, and if anything, it became a blueprint for everything else I've written in English, with the multiple narrators and the jumping up and down the timeline.

Yes. ^_^ ...The contest rather fell apart, as it lacked participants, if I recall

Though it was bloody dark, I enjoyed reading it quite a bit; and there was something extremely vivid, gritty and real about the characters--without simply being noir or hardnose movie cutouts.

Oy, yes. ^_^ I've glanced at "SHAPE[...]" and ought to be able to get to that in something like good time.

Finished. (Though I'd still like to get to "Shift, Shape[...]" as well as the continuing chapters of Twooster's tale.)
