That's right: the point cost for new storybooks has been reduced from 500 points to zero points. So if you've been wanting to experiment with creating different kinds of storybooks, or wanted to create your very first, now you can.

However, there is a caveat.

After posting a new storybook, it won't show up right away. Instead, what happens is it gets sent to the moderators for approval. The approval process should take no more than a day, and what they'll primarily be looking for is just good grammar. The approval process is not strict whatsoever.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Just out of curiosity, why'd it go from 500 points to free?
I am nothing
but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted
apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's
or maybe like pocket candy
that's just a bit too sweet.

500 points was put in place to help stop storybook spam; you had to be serious to start one. Now, with the approval process, spam's stopped with the friendly neighbourhood mods. ;)
You know you're a writer when you're not alarmed at hearing voices in your head, you can't read a book without analyzing it for plot & characters and you consider something you nearly killed yourself to write the most rewarding.

Guilty as charged.
