Keen observers will notice a new link near the top named "Shuffle". If you're having trouble finding it, look harder! It's in the same area as "Earn more points by helping an author in need".

Shuffle picks a random work posted in the last 30 days that has either 0 reviews or just 1 review. So if you're having a problem finding something to review, just click "Shuffle"!

Additionally, it definitely seems that the new "Earn more points..." area & feature is having an impact on reviews. While review activity usually remains elevated after a Review Day, current review activity is actually even higher than I'd expect.

Hmmm if shuffle is only supposed to give you stories with 0-1 review, then it's not working. I clicked it and got one with like... 7 reviews O.o
And the "Give a second opinion" page also has things with way more than just one review.
If there's a 50/50 chance of getting something wrong go for it anyway because there is also a 50/50 chance of getting it right

I think that's because posts with less than 250 characters on a literary work are considered comments not reviews and reviews are encouraged not comments.
I am nothing
but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted
apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's
or maybe like pocket candy
that's just a bit too sweet.

MIckixoxo ->> Jasmine is right. Some works may have a lot of comments, but only a few of those comments end up qualifying as reviews.

Yay ^^ I think I said that somewhere ages ago o.O ...
HERE:
tinkembell wrote:I don't know if this has been suggested yet, but it would be awesome if there was a button (maybe under discover works?)
that when clicked on, brings you to a random piece of work with 0-2 reviews.

I think it would be a lot of help for people looking to review things, because although there is a review queue with works with 0, 1, or 2 comments, it only shows the most recent posts, and I would love to be find a work to review easily, and also, I'm not that good at making desicions ^_^ so it could take you to a piece without think; "PFFFLEE, that's in narritive poetry, I can't be bothered to review that/ the title sounds reaaaaly boring... O_o" because the work might actually be brilliant.

I don't know, maybe it's me, I'm lazy like that :)

But still, it would be very handy :D

~Tinkem

maybe call it 'Random Piece' or 'Shuffle'?

I shall use it right away :}
