New! Leaderboards
Now introducing leaderboards for YWS! Just go to Home tab at the top, then choose "Leaderboards." You'll see a listing of the top reviewers for the past 24 hours, the past seven days, and the current month. You'll also see the champion from last month, as well as the heavyweight, who will probably be Snoink for many years to come.
YWS True Blue & Light Removed
Both YWS True Blue & Light have been removed. True Blue users were switched to Chimped Out, and Light users were switched to Default. The change was made because YWS is rapidly growing not only in size, but also in complexity. I couldn't support four templates, so it's been whittled down to the two most popular. Don't worry, Chimped Out is here to stay! It is, after all, Bobo's shining glory.
Friends in Profile Change:
Go to your profile or anyone elses. Notice that it's no longer in the order it used to be?
The friends in everyone's profile are now ordered by last visit, which means that someone who logged in two seconds ago would be at top. I was deciding whether to do this or let users choose their top friends, but I decided against the latter. How come? Getting to choose your top friends, while cool, is also kind of stressful and can lead to fights. I know a ton of people who won't use MySpace because they got tired of all the "Why am I not in your top friends?" messages.
Portfolio Management: Major Update
The portfolio management system is perhaps the biggest new update in a year. You can organize your portfolio almost however you wish now.
Since a lot of changes were made, you'll find a user guide in the portfolio section of any profile. Just click "help" to read it.
Reviews Tab in My YWS
You can now easily read all of the reviews you have ever received right from My YWS. Nice and easy to use.
