Is the world becoming a better place with the developments of new arms in every civilized nation? If the world has finally attained self-peace, is there any need for ammunition development anymore and if not, then why are nations expanding their armies? Are the times of war far behind us? Has the ammunition industry become more of a capitalist empire? Is the Cold War truly over? And are there still more to come? Will the new age of weaponry spell an end to 'third-world' and war-stricken countries?
Voice your opinions. And please, no bashing or offensive language. We're all debating after all, not literally fighting for our lives.
Cold war over - yeah, pretty much. But we countries still all hate each other. Naturally But with reason. People DON'T like each other and no weapons/war = utopia. Which is not happening soon.
The UK is cutting its army to 83,000. Incredibly low... But I shall be happy if:
1. Chemical weapons go bye bye. 2. Ditto with Biological ones. 3. Ditto the ditto with nukes.
The world is a scary place. We need to put a stop to it. Not that anything can be done.
