I think there are a lot less playwrites than novelists. Personally I *hate* scripts. Quite passionately. Whenever I try to write one it messes up my writing style. The first time I wrote a script it taught me how to do some pretty cool tricks when using dialogue to show an action, or the presense of props to show a story, but I wouldn't write one again.
If you want to get in contact with playwrites then you could probably just trawl the script section of this website and find people there.
I'm a playwright! I started off with short stories, but I just couldn't create the level of detail needed, so I tried writing some ten minute plays and they went really well. If you need anything reviewed or help with anything feel free to let me know!
