I have an idea for a story in a fantasy setting, and the beginning revolves around the idea of like a banished princess or something. But I am kinda stuck on ideas for reasons for banishment. Any suggestions would be appreciated in the thread below!
Fairytale reasons: 1. Her mother, the queen, got jealous of her beauty. So she framed her and banished her. (similar to Snow White) 2. She is incredibly naughty and was banished by her parents to teach her a lesson.
Realistic reasons: 1. She conspired against her own family. 2. Politics - like she's part of the opposite political party of her family 3. She did something forbidden and was found out.
Hope this helps!
