A Candrian Plight

I've started a big project with one of my friends! A Choose-Your-Own-Adventure book. It's not the kind that you'd expect to find at a library: something simple, made for younger audiences. No, this one's much more than that. We're developing a complex world, with complex decisions; decisions that branch off into separate storylines. And, even better: failure's not at every corner! This will be the equivalent of multiple books, and no one decisions or story will be the same! (Unless you want to be spiteful and choose the same answers.)

Here, you'll see bits and pieces of the Candrian world and story!

TEASER NUMBER ONE:

In one of the various storylines...

Captain Sinclair summons you to his side, with a resounding, "Corporal!" You spur your heels into the horse's side, prompting it to gallop across the field, past the ordered regiments of infantry. He takes out an eyeglass and hands it to you. Taking it in your hands, you stare through the piece, and, in the distance, you witness an impressive, albeit intimidating sight.

Cavalrymen were rushing your lines.

TEASER NUMBER TWO:

Both magic and muskets can be found in Candria. Strategy can be your best ally, byt so can strength. The choice? It's yours.

TEASER NUMBER THREE:

Four Houses of Nobility: the Sinclairs, the richest and most revered, the Greviaux, the family of military officers and brutality, the Fredolin, the diplomatic and proper, and the Mandreau, the poorest, but also the the most passionate.

Everyday, a new civil war is waged between the Houses of Purebloods. You can get caught in the toil. Or, you can watch their walls collapse. It's your choice.

The things you are passionate about are not random, they are your calling.
