The YWS World Cup was a rousing success with over 700 reviews completed in 24 hours! More importantly though, the Green Room was emptied! And not just emptied for December, or for the past few months. No. The Green Room was emptied for all of 2013.

This means that every single work posted from January 1, 2013 to December 29, 2013 has received at least two reviews. Way to go reviewers!

To achieve this, we had four teams instead of two to represent the four main regions of YWS: Eastern USA, Western USA, Commonwealth, and International. The four teams did a great job at reviewing with Eastern USA ultimately coming out on top! Congratulations Eastern USA, and congratulations to all who participated!

The members of the winning team will receive the YWS World Cup trophy, and all participants will receive a medal along with a Review Day star.

Now, onto the results...

Review teams*
Eastern USA (Beasts from the East) - 464 points per person (27367 points total)
International (Ink Force) - 379 points per person (12504 points total)
Western USA (West Side Writers) - 366 points per person (15725 points total)
Commonwealth (Review Rippers) - 317 points per person (14282 points)

* As the teams contained an uneven number of members, it's the points per person that matters!

Wow, I don't remember typing THAT much... O.O (This is assuming I'm counting characters, not points) I mean, that's enough for 52 reviews with a perfect score each! XD

I'm not going to argue with the records, but I think I outdid myself at outdoing myself this time. I never expected to score so high in the results! XP

Speaking of arguing with the records, I was under the impression that my teammate ulaula8 had finished with 48 reviews. O.O If you guys have any clarification for this, I'd gladly appreciate it. Or at least any response that can get this nagging feeling of guilt away from the back of my head...

@Gummy, sometimes results may change because we go through and conduct a review of the reviews at the end of the day. When we do this, some reviews can be removed if they were spam, they were accidentally double counted, or there was a bug present.

On a second note, iPad is offering me to send a message to the number of characters or save it as contact.
