I feel that it ought to be updated. I recently read a different article that pointed out certain words that only certain areas use. (For instance, tolo, or in most of the country, a Sadie Hawkin's dance.)

I didn't know "sneakers" was an Ny-thing. But I'd say that's accurate xD Funny though, I was hoping I'd get some Southern states since y'know...I've been living here for 10 years, guess not!
