To the three people who give a crap (okay, 2.5 people) — a list of the Hugo winners! Also, the very awesome John Scalzi talks about it in a long blog entry, Neil Gaiman talks about withdrawing Anansi Boys from the Hugo nominations list and if you Google around, you should find other people's reactions.

And yes, Serenity won Best Dramatic Presentation (Long Form). Whee!

Oh, it's not a HUGO, it's a Hugo. No caps. I was just, um, unnecessarily excited.

Our buddy Wiki says this:
The Hugo Award is given every year for the best science fiction or fantasy works of the previous year. The award is named after Hugo Gernsback, the founder of the pioneering science fiction magazine Amazing Stories. The award categories have changed over time as the field of science fiction has grown and evolved.

Hugo Award nominees and winners are chosen by members of the annual World Science Fiction Convention ("Worldcon").

There's a thing for new writers started by L Ron. Hubbard. It's the Writers of the Future contest.
Please, sit down before you fall down.

I always thought I made up the 1.5 of the 2.5. :P

(I could've miscounted. 3.5 people who care? 4.5?)
