If you haven't heard of Squills, what kind of rock have you been living under? Hop right on over to the Squills -- The YWS News section of the Community forums and read your fill of our past ten or eleven editions (depending on when you happen across this post).

If you have heard of Squills, are you ready to be part of the magic? Maybe you've already subscribed to the Squills Fan Club and are looking to take your relationship with @SquillsBot to the next level. Well, have I got the job for you!

To be part of the team, you need to commit to contributing at least one article every month, preferably one quality, thoughtful article a week.

Since that'll be your responsibility, we invite you to express your interest to join the team by contributing an article to an upcoming edition. You're welcome to audition with the first article in a column or a stand-alone article.

Choose your topic! Choose your angle! Choose your audience!

Submit all audition articles to me by PM, please. On behalf of all the Squills team, I'll say that we look forward to having you on our team. And definitely don't be shy -- we're just looking to add awesome people to our Squills family and to continue growing!

I've really wanted to do this. I just need the time. When does the article have to be in because I need to calculate time.

You're welcome to submit your article at absolutely any time, even months from now! We'll pretty much always be accepting new staff writers, I should think. So, no pressure!

Anyone looking to submit and potentially be published/join up this week, try to submit your articles to me by Saturday afternoon.

Since YWS is an international society, we publish Squills so that even New Zealand YWSers can enjoy a fresh issue on Sunday morning. That means if you go by your own Saturday night deadline, you might end up getting your article held over for next week. Which is no big deal, but yeah!

So, if you're interested, this is a reminder!

Anyways, unfortunately I don't have an idea for an article, even though I have been thinking hard. @Hannah is there anything you want or need as a suggestion?

I had the perfect idea, and it vanished from my mind over night.

@Blackwood -- Since part of the Squills deal is ideally coming up with your own article ideas, I'm hesitant to give you something and make you write it, you know?

My best suggestion is to read past Squills and see if there's anything similar that interests you. Or think of the article you always wanted to see published but hasn't yet arrived.

This is another reminder call for all who have expressed interest. We'd love to have you on staff, but you have to take the first step!

Well I suggested this to someone else but I have considered doing it myself where it is one of those anonymous asking question or advice things and I could answer it. Although I wouldn't be able to start unless I had to one begin with........

What would we call that? "Ask Blackwood? Dear Blackwood?"
