I have recently seen him mention a lot in the Official Polls section, but who is he? I also found some thread on google belonging to this forum (deleted for some reason?). Anyhow, could anyone please tell me why he is mentioned here?

You know you're a writer when you're not alarmed at hearing voices in your head, you can't read a book without analyzing it for plot & characters and you consider something you nearly killed yourself to write the most rewarding.
