It's a good thought, but I feel that most people who want to join a storybook will browse the forum themselves and then select the one they like the most. It could definitely still work, but I've found a better way to get more people to join your storybook is sending them private messages . It really helps specific users, who you know are avid storybookers, to become aware.

The best way to get writers is to make an interesting title and opening paragraph! Set the stage for the storybook and provide a hook that gets potential writers interested. And participate in a lot of storybooks to get your name known, so people trust you'll run the book well.
You know you're a writer when you're not alarmed at hearing voices in your head, you can't read a book without analyzing it for plot & characters and you consider something you nearly killed yourself to write the most rewarding.
Thanks for the help guys! ^^ Although I have no clue how I'm going to move it.. Can I just leave it here? I know it was sorta rude, so I think I'll delete my first post.
