Not necessarily. It depends on the culture. Where women are brought up to be extremely domestic and men are brought up to be scholarly, men are the writers.

We can safely say that female adolescent internet-users are more prone to write then male adolescent internet-users, based on this website.

Hmm....
I should look up a bestseller list and see how many novilests are females and males...
It's quite the subject.... to look at when you're bored at 1 AM...

I'm proabaly not very reliable for this sort of thing, but the whole "Aspiring Writer Market" seems to be directed primarily to women.

I've sort of thought that for a long time. And I do see your point - there does seem to be a multitude of female members, here, doesn't there?
