Not that they are particularly new, but they are to me. I though I'd save board space, and post them all in one.

Daphne Loves Derby // indie-rock-emo - favorites: Come Winter, Birthday Gallery, and Closing Down the Pattern Department. Some pretty easy listening there. They aren't particuraly great, but I like them.

De Capulet // folk-indie-rock - I love them, favorite new band. favorites: Love at a Highspeed and The Paradigm.
http://www.purevolume.com/decapulet

Red Light School District // rock-indie - they remind me something of a cross between The Faint, The Killers and Snow Patrol. Favorites: Good Luck Wishin, Laws Control, Lets Go Out and Bridges to Burn.

Fraser: Stop stealing the blanket.
[Diefenbaker whines]
Fraser: You're an Arctic Wolf, for God's sake.
(Due South)

Hatter: Do I need a reason to help a pretty girl in a very wet dress? (Alice)

Got YWS?

People, if there is one thing that you do before you die, it has to be to check out . . .

THE NEW PORNOGRAPHERS.

Check out Use It, Testament to Youth in Verse, and My Slow Descent Into Alcoholism, to get a taste.

Fantastic, fantastic band.

(And if you like them, check out A.C. Newman, who is part of TNP, but has his own solo stuff, à la TNP)

Very indie, very Canadian. Lend them your ears.
words, language - what wonderous
creatures these beings are,
what joyous routes of sorrow and
longing they pave.

I like The New Pornographers. Like Whatsarahsaid, I think The Raconteurs are pretty cool. We Star Fires are pretty good - I saw them supporting another band I really like, and they were okay. However, you should all check out Dartz! Best relatively unknown band that I like: www.myspace.com/darts

Thats because muse aren't new at all. Like, at all.
"Sometimes we see a cloud that's dragonish,
A vapour sometimes like a bear or lion,
A towered citadel, a pendant rock,
A forked mountain, or blue promontory,
With trees upon't that nod unto the world,And mock our eyes with air.."
