Anyone know how to get those free fonts to work on microsoft word? like the ones from one of the sites like www.1001freefonts.com? the instructions on the site are...less then helpful that's for sure.
Also, has anyone used any of those fonts before and if so, do they work?

I'm not sure about their fonts, but usually you just download a file.

Take that file, and go to your C drive, then go to WINDOWS (its a file name) and in that file, there should be hundreds of other files. You're looking for one called FONTS, put the file you downloaded in there.
Beware of the scary banana fingers! For they are mushy, and yellow.
