When we find that something is funny, many of us like to use the "smilie" of an x and a D. (It looks like a person that is laughing and squinting their eyes.) The question is, do you capitalize your x? Let us know!

IS THAT WHY PEOPLE USE AN X?

I always just thought it was a weird smiley. Never before have I thought of it as a squinty person!

For the record, I prefer "xD"

I always use a capital X! XD

XD because it is more symmetrical. Because my eyes aren't over on one side of my face. Because it shows more emotion.

I use both. "xD" as a replacement for "lol", and "XD" to add emphasis, for when I think something's very funny.

I used XD when I first came here, but then I saw other people using xD and I was worried that I was doing it wrong and that I would look like a moron if I kept using it, so I switched to xD, Then I realized that either way was acceptable, so now I'm in sort of a weird limbo between the two. I use both. xD XD

If I'm laughing I just say so. Haha.
