You’re embarking on a yearlong round-the-world adventure, and can take only one small object with you to remind you of home. What do you bring along for the trip?

I decided a book. Most likely an Enid Blyton book. (Read here)

That's the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of travels. xB

I think I did the same thing as you Lava, immediately jumping to comforting food. I'm almost nine months into a two year trans-atlantic stint and there are so many times that I find myself longing for the comforts of home, I just feel lucky that British imports are relatively easy to find here in Canada.

My heart says 'bring marmite!' but a small jar wouldn't last too long!

I guess when it comes down to it, I'd probably bring a book as well. There's something really nice about a comforting and familiar read when everything else is so new and different.

I think I would take my mp3 + headphones. THEY ARE A SET OKAY.

I can't live without my music and music reminds me of home, so yeah. ;-;

I'd bring my teddy bear, Junior

I would bring my incense burner and my incense. The scent of sandalwood smoke makes me feel cozy.

an album full of nostalgic pics ofcourse!

I would bring my house

Ugh, I like the book idea, the music idea, and even the teddy bear idea... but I'm not sure. I think I'd choose my mp3 as well. That saves me so many times.

I'd take my mom. >.>

I take it back! I'd bring my laptop! XD

I would bring my pillow. It is one of those squishy bead ones and it has a zipper pocket that I put everything I can in.

My tea and tea pot. I need tea to make it through the day.
