Favourite Colour Rules

What's your favourite colour... it's the dreaded question.
So I am spicing this up as a weird word challenge.
For example... if you favourite colour is blue, fine. But don't call it "blue", be more specific. eg. aquamarine, turquoise, azure, royal, navy... etc.
Be inventive, research synonyms for those colours and come up with something original.
Please.
