Hello, Panem. Let us first congratulate all the tributes for successfully finishing their rest challenge in the Arena. They all did spectacularly. Today, you only see the people who will be competing for the victor's crown. These people have fought long and hard to achieve these spots. There are no more teams, just people battling for the glory.

@Pompadour
@Piper
@defyingravity01
@JamesHunt
@ongoeslife
@BiscuitsBatchAvoy
@ShadowVyper
@Blackwood
@retrodisco666

Today's challenge will be...

Find the oldest piece of writing you have and revise it.

You must keep the original characters and the basic plot. Submit the old version and new version--but don't worry, you'll only be judged on the new one! The new version must be 500+ words. Please include how old you were when you wrote the original piece.

Good luck! And may the odds be ever in your favor.

From the time of this post, all the tributes at 24 hours to post their edited and finished challenge. Any tribute that misses the deadline will be forfeited from the game. The scores of Challenge Six will be released at 10 a.m. EST on June the 9th.

But the challenge details I am guessing that it should be 'The oldest piece of prose writing?' As I don't want to see a 500 word poem.

Wasn't there supposed to be a break challenge or something?
Hahah....haha.....ahahaha.

@SparkToFlame , what if my oldest piece is my entry for the Blood Bath? I already know how much I have received for that, so it would be rather demoralising... (Also, I thought our final challenge was the one posted by @Aquestioning in our districts' forums - I even wrote you a message!)

The only other piece of literature I have written on YWS is the draft of a part of my novel's first chapter, and I didn't even write it, my co-author did - I simply edited it. :(

@JamesHunt If you can truthfully say that's your oldest piece of writing, then I can't stop you.

@SparkToFlame , that's exactly my point - I already know my oldest piece of writing was, after all the editing I had done, worth only 7.5 points. Therefore, if I submit it again, there is absolutely no chance for me to win. So, what do I do now? Submit a part of a chapter of a novel I had once written, but dismissed?

I present to the Capitol my entry for the Final Challenge - The Simultaneous life of a Count and Herbalist My original version's word count is 700 words, but the edited version's is 857 words. The original version was written at the age of fourteen.

I think it is cruel that our fate is to be decided by something completely unrelated to the Games, but I suppose Fate simply loves working that way.

Does it have to be THE oldest piece? Because I don't think I have a copy of that, nor do I remember what it was.

I found my old account on here, and only one thing I posted really had any plot at all. (And it was not the first one.) Should I go with that, or...?

EDIT: Just realized that it says the oldest piece of writing you HAVE. As I said, I have such trouble reading directions, and that should be my challenge. :P
