Posted this in the homework help too but realized it may fit a better audience in the lounge.

Hello writers of YWS!
So some of you may recognize me. I used to be really active on the site once upon a time ago before university ate my soul. But I’ve been studying English in this time and I’m currently working on a project for my English for Informatics final. Currently, I’m looking for people to volunteer a couple minutes of their time to fill out a quick survey and link me to any works you would be willing to let me use.
Essentially, the point of the project is to look at creative material being written by today’s youth, preferably something written in the last year and see what topics most clearly stand out as well as looking for a few specific things that I would mention but I don’t want to throw a cog of bias into the informatic-machine. You can submit as many links you like and 50 points to everyone who helps me out!
So if you’re willing to help this old member out, reply here or PM me with the below:
Code: Select all
Username:
Age:
Country:
Link(s):
Never forget who you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.

Maybe what most people wanted wasn't immortality and fame, but the reassurance that their existence had meant something. No matter how long... or how brief. Maybe being eternal meant becoming a story worth telling.
