I thought y'all could use a quick refresh of the rules. Here you go:

Spoiler! :
There is seldom need for profanity outside of literary works, and we thus ask members not to use profanity on the rest of the site. We do so for three reasons: (1) most people find them offensive, (2) the use of profanity in a casual context demonstrates a poor vocabulary and (3) this is a site primarily for young children, many of whom are 13 and under.

Non-negociable. So please, don't be a headache to the Mods and make them correct swear words, yes? :D You can find the whole article on profanity use here: The YWS Censorship Policy

I'd like to add that saying controversial "jokes," while not prohibited (as far as I know), is a great way to stir up debate and/or offend people. We don't want that, do we? I recommend keeping the discussion here on strictly the matter at hand. If you want to talk about death and whether or not you can joke about it, maybe you should check out the SD&D forum. Otherwise, you will upset people (as the above responses prove). It might not offend you, but it can (and most likely will) offend others. Keep that in mind.

All right, let's try to stay away from debating any further. And remember to please try and play nice, okay? Keep YWS friendly! :smt003

There's a difference between dark humor and saying something horrible. Remarking that if everyone that commented on this thread would die, it'd be funny, is taking things way too far. And no, it wasn't funny at all.

For you anyway.

You know what, this whole discussion made me realize something:
