How do I Change scenes in my novel. for example one of my characters has finished doing something and now wants to go check on the other character. how do i switch to what the other character is doing?

You simply stop typing the previous scene, hit Enter/Return once or twice, and have the character go check up on what the other person is doing. Or, you can simply write them traveling to go see the other character.
