You could refer to it as "the coffee shop", and never name it. That's one way to save yourself from thinking up a name, because naming a company is pretty difficult. (I'm in advertising and have had to name companies. The amount of work involved is impressive)

Or, since it's for school, you can just slightly alter an existing company name, to the point it's still recognizable. You'd have a very difficult time getting away with that if you published, but if you don't publish, you're fine.

S-Press-O.. Digital Bean.. Not Starbucks. xD I found these online. You'd be surprised how helpful the google search engine can be. I think if it's for a story, you should probably name it something believable that'll catch on in the readers head. Something fun and chill. 8) But a lot of different things can go into naming a business obviously. Think about the environment first then go from there I'd say.

Hope this helps!

Hm... there's always the tried and tested names (starbucks, Costa etc). You could call it something like Blah blah café.

Here are some ideas:
1. Organic Coffees
2. Name here Coffee (it's been said before, so Kate's Coffee, Jim's coffee etc)
3. Blueberry Café
4. InTouch Café (assuming it's an internet café)
5. Example's (so it'd be Jim's or Kate's)

I hope I helped!
