Hi everybody

I'm totally new here and still trying to get used to everything.

A little about me... I love owls. I love writing. I love Nutella.

And I think this little guy is cute -->

I write poetry and short stories, mostly. I write fanfiction when I can, and I've got enough plot bunnies in my head to open a farm.

So... any tips/info/random thoughts you can give me bout this site would be great

Well, first of all, welcome to YWS! Is really great here, if you have any question feel free to ask me or one of mods. They are the ones with the green names!

As for tips, here's a brief summary of the awesomeness that is YWS.

All Literary is the section where you can read any of the short stories/poems/chapters etc. that are on this site. Feel free to leave reviews for any of the stuff you read—the more reviews you write, the more points you get, and points lead to . . .

Writing and publishing your own stuff! The Publishing Center is where you can go to submit your own pieces and have them reviewed. It costs usually 250 points to have something published.

The people here are super friendly, so don't be afraid to review and publish things! We all love reviewing and receiving reviews on here.

If you have any questions, you can always chat with any of the users with green usernames. They're the Mods, and happy to answer any questions. You can also ask me, though sadly I am but a lowly normal person.

Don't listen to Blues! I'm like the friendliest person here and the red coloured name is honestly just a warning about how friendly I am!

I also happen to share your love of owls, as does my sister, so we have an owl doormat, an owl cushion, an owl statue and an owl plushie between us - all adorably staring at our poor guests!
