Bonjour et Bienvenue,

Welcome to YWS. If you have any questions or get lost around the site (as it can be confusing...) or if you need a critique feel free to PM me.

What genre do you write? Prose, or poetry?

Enjoy yourself :-D

Hi Heather! I second Clau's questions ... mostly because I'm nosey, but partially because if you write fantasy I'll probably see you around some time.

Welcome, have fun, beware the purple monkeys. Just kidding. The monkeys aren't purple. :D

That's a good question. I write a lot of poetry but am currently attempting to get a joint novel published (I wrote it with my sister recently and we've had some encouraging feed back) As for genre, I'm very flexible. I shall certainly see you around Imelda, fantasy is one of my priorities but I base a lot of my work on serious issues such as the hurricane Katrina or rememberance day. Basically I write anything and I'm more than willing to try out a new style.

Hello Heather,
I must say, I find you vaguely familiar.
But since you're new, let me introduce myself,
I'm Meep, and welcome to the YWS family!

2 things you must remember in YWS,
One, no chatspeak is allowed, though you may use it once in a blue moon.
Two, keep to the 2:1 ratio rule. For every 1 piece of work you post, you must review two others not done by you.

I hope you have a nice time here!
Feel free to PM me for anything :D
