Young Writers Society

Hey,
I have come over from Teenage Writers (WingMaker). Looks like you guys have a nice place here. I preferred the simplicity of TW but I will probably get used to the nice features of this site. I am a story teller, and although I have written poetry it is not my area of expertise. I have taken a recent interest in writing screenplays and that is what I am working on at the moment. I hope to see you all around and I hope my stay here will be fun and productive so I can become a better writer.

Poetry isn't my expertice, either. I want to learn how to write screen plays. It sounds really cool!
I checked out the TW site and it IS much simpler than YWS. YWS is the only writer's site I've been to before TW, so when I went to TW, I was like "Where is everything?!" jk. Cool site. Got an account on there.

So if you need anything, story crit, questions, help, or you just want to chat, just PM me and I'll do my best!

I hope you enjoy YWS, the setups are real different. It's not too complex here, it just looks like it...it is different than usual forums though because the site isn't just a forum. Or...er...well it is but...oh well. I'll end that before I sound any stupider.

Basically you get the month of June to write a 20,000 word screen or stage play.

Looks interesting. School gets out in the beginning of June so I may be able to participate.
