Like I said before, I'm glad you joined.
Writer's Window was fun but everything was screened. Which I totally hated.
Make sure you check out the Help and Support tab. {up at the top}. It's rules, FAQ, and much more.
Well, off I go...and I'm glad you joined our YWS family. {you'll totally love it here.}

Hey everyone! I used to be a member about three years ago. Life caught me and I was unable to actually write for a while. I have been able to rearrange my schedule so I have some time to at least get some creative juices running. It's great to be back, even if it has changed so much. See you guys in the reviews! Hi, writerlover. Welcome to YWS. Very Happy

I'm Chirantha and I think it's reasonable for you to be scared of revealing you personal things.

And I should tell you that you should review two works done by others before posting any story. Keep a 2:1 ratio.

So, I think you will find this site, interesting and literally wonderful.

If you have any question, please feel free to PM me (private message).

Hi! My Name is John Keyzynski (My real name is kept safe) I am a 15 year old from New Jersey and hope I will be able to sharpen my literary skills here. I like to write thriller, action, comedy, scifi stories and even a little bit of non-fiction. Here is an example of my writing style.

"She burst from the school fast enough to be twenty feet away before the doors closed behind her. She thrusted the book into her coat pocket and leapt a small mountain of snow in front of her. Janie could hear the shout of the teachers behind her.

Three minutes left

Janie ripped open the door of her grey 1992 pale blue Neon and rammed her key into the accelerator, backed up hard and swerved to avoid a Mom walking her sick son to her car and accelerated into the road as fast as her old car could go.

Hartford School Bus Lot

Lisa aimed her fathers hunting rifle at the driver of the yellow school bus and said, "Get out now! Get the kids out too!" The driver, an old black man in his seventies turned and ushered the frightened seven year olds to the nearby Elementary school which had been their destination only thirty seconds ago. Lisa leapt into the bus and hit the gas on the still running engine and veered out of the lot.

Don't let a single thing stop you, cars, trucks, police, S.W.A.T. National freaking Guard. Your mission to make sure a bus hits that school at all costs Bellowed the voice of the man in yellow in her mind. She wiped away the tears in her eyes and veered around incoming and oncoming traffic.

"Two more minutes." Janie said to herself as she also dodged and veered through traffic, nearly hitting a flatbed truck with a pyramid of lumber strapped to the bed. Barbara Zic would be hopefully calling police by now, if what they had read in the diary was true...

A lot of people will die if I dont do something

Janie soon heard the honking not attributed to her, the sound of metal hitting something much bigger and made way for it as fast as she could. Soon she saw the yellow school bus rampaging its way down the road. Janie felt her training as a Navy Seal telling her to get onto that bus as fast as possible and with as little casualties as possible.

She took a breath through her nose as she let the bus pass her, getting a brief glance at Lisa's face as it did. Up until about a month ago Lisa had been somewhat normal before she took the dive to crazy, writing about strange dreams, midnight raids on her house by men clad in black, and the man in Yellow in her diary which Janie now felt buldge in a pocket a bit too small for it.

As the bus buzzed by her she made a U-Turn and began to follow it. This is crazy Janie, crazy. She thought to herself. She ran a hand through her blonde hair and kept closely following the bus, praying Lisa wouldnt turn around every second.

Soon they came to the one mile stretch of road that led to the school and Janie slid back the sunroof on her Neon and set her car to cruise control...

Lisa clenched her teeth as her hands nearly bent through the plastic of the wheel. Her eyes could see nothing but the school as as she hit the accelerator. Soon it would be over and she coul-

Thump!

She turned around to look at the car now swerving away, and she heard the sound of
thump thump thump thump as someone climbed on top of the roof, and then off in the distance she heard the sound that made the blood now pumping at what felt like 100MPH in her chest run cold.

Police...

I felt the same way. I was unaware that there were other people who came here from Writer's Window. I have to agree that I like the freedom to post material suited to different age groups rather than just the "PG" crowd on YWS.

Welcome Jonathan (interesting excerpt!), Kaonna, John Kezynski, Raheel, Alex, and Sings from Books! I hope you enjoy your time here at YWS (I'm sure you will).
