After seeing DQ playing the YWS arcade's "defend your stronghold" on our school computers, I joined here for the arcade .
But I was already a writer beforehand and have become more interestedin that aspect of the site . |

| My very good friend, Yahoo (the search engine) showed me the way to the YWS. I spent hours searching for writing clubs and this was the best of all of them. |

| I was on writing.com - shortly after my gifted upgraded membership expired - bemoaning the loss of my stories (writing.com had deleted all but my worst stories out of my portfolio) when a link to the 'young writers society' caught my eye. Shrugging, I clicked on it. The end. |
