A good friend of mine who goes by the name sureal showed me this site about a year ago. At the time, I had been to concerned with my school work and a few other things at the time to join at first, which i regret now, but eventually i did in the end, and here I am.

I can remember exactly. It was a rainy day at our local library and Bella (writer_chick_13) and Alzz (author13) were all on it. They said I should join (Go figure) and thus, the great and glorious reign of MADHATTER began

I was at boarding school and my friends was trying to kick me off the house computer stating 'I wasn't doing anything'. To prove him wrong I went onto google searched young writers randomly and BAM!

So it was an accident really. Wink

I think I was recommended this site by a friend, but I can't remember who...also, I was tired of getting critiques from friends who refused to give constructive criticism because they felt bad about saying anything"mean" about my writing, so...here I am!

well lets see...I had to write an acrostic poem...wanted to read someones work before I wrote one...I couldn't find any good poems to inspire me...so I searched "I hate acrostic poems" and "iQuippie" poem "Winter" (which is titled "I hate acrostic poems) came up on the search, I clicked and brought me here. Who woulda thunk it?

I was rather bored and jotting down some of my writing. Then I suddenly thought, "are there any web sites that help and encourage young writers like me?" So I went on internet and started researching.

Truth is, I found many. I chose this one randomly and now I'm starting to like it.
