The messenger bag would be a great back-to-school item for any YWS junkie. Meaning, Saint and Myself and anyone else. ^_^

Haha, yay random MSN chats. Razz

The more I think about it, the more I want a YWS messenger bag. Like, ASAP. Very Happy

Here's an idea:

We have 'view all posts by _____' and we can see their stories and writings. But because there's been a greater emphasis placed on reviews in the past few months, why not have a 'view all reviews' area on the profile?

"Because that's hard to code...?"

Can't argue against that, but it would be really cool to be able to view them. in the 'Will Critique for food' forum, the people giving the critiques need to copy and paste the link to their crits. If there was already a link in their profile to view them, it wouldn't be as much effort on their part to compile them.

Just a thought.

The messenger bag:
http://www.cafepress.com/ywsstore.272243407

If you're looking for something different, just let me know.

Dreamer ->> Pretty shortly, you'll be able to view reviews made by others to your stuff on My YWS, but I think you're suggesting something different than that, right? That is, the ability to see the reviews a person has made from their profile?

It's definitely possible, and really simple to do. Would take a couple hours, so I'll see about doing it this week.

Would it be possible to add anything under the My YWS tab, like to view your profile, or view your friend list?

Is it possible to have different colours for the messenger bag?

Just curious. I want to buy one, for sure. Just wondering if it has to be yellow. Very Happy

Edit: And Suz wants to know about the possibility of having this for the image, but she's too polite to "complain," as she phrases it. Razz

I tried the shield logo, but it didn't look right. For some reason, the yellow bleeds through. I'll keep trying though.

And yep, unfortunately yellow is the only color.

Yup! That's what I was trying to say. >.< My brain's mush right now, so kudos for translating my garbled message. Smile

Thanks Nate!

A Suggestion for the YWS store: Maybe a YWS Hoodie?

Horror/Thriller Section.

Many complaints in the chat over the past few months on the lack of such a forum.

Dreamer ->> As I've told Andy, someone just needs to show me where at least 20 horror/thriller short stories have been posted on YWS. All I need are the links to these, and you can gather them either yourself or collaboratively by creating a thread in the Lounge.

The problem is that adding a new forum is a lot of work. YWS has been so extensively modified that when I add a new literary forum, I need to make all sorts of changes.

I don't know if you have myspace, Nate, but they send out a notice (through e-mail) when a friend is having a birthday, for everyone having it that week. I think you should set something like that here (something that we can turn off, of course.) While you have the list at the bottom, many people don't notice it, and then we don't say 'happy birthday!' to our friends. (I didn't even get to say happy birthday to you! Happy belated birthday, by the way. Smile)

But only if it only told us of our friends' birthdays. I don't need to get 100 a day.

Like it? Smile

Would it be possible to see how many minutes/hours/days/weeks etc. we've spent logged onto YWS? Not how long since we signed up, but how long we've actually been logged onto the site.

Don't know if it's possible, it was a just an idea I thought was cool.
