1. Write a poem inspired by, about, or surrounding your favourite song. In your entry, please put the title and artist of the song, and a little background on why you like the song so much. Otherwise there are no requirements. Can be as long as you want, any structure, etc.
2. Entries will be judged by myself only. The winner will receive 5000 points. Second placed and third placed contestants will receive 2500 points and 1000 points respectively. There is also 500 points for any runner-ups depending on the number of people who enter. Anybody who enters will also receive 100 points as standard.
3. The contest will run until the 1st of January (therefore Midnight GMT on the 31st December) and after that no entries will be accepted. Unfortunately if less than five entries are received I will discontinue the contest.
4. Please send your entries to me in PM. Don't e-mail them to me, because it is often hard to find out who the entrant was, and PMs are easier.
5. Post any queries in this topic! Otherwise, good luck! |
